Samsung Galaxy S III: venduti 20 milioni d’unità in 100 giorni

Samsung nelle scorse ore ha annunciato che il suo smartphone top-gamma, cioè il Galaxy S III, ha raggiunto quota 20 milioni d'unità vendute in tutto il mondo. Un record strabiliante non tanto per il grande numero di smartphone venduti, anche perchè i predecessori hanno raggiunto la medesima cifra, ma per il tempo impiegato nel raggiungerla: solo 100 giorni (circa tre mesi). Negli ultimi mesi le vendite del Galaxy S III hanno preso un'impennata e sono cresciuti vertiginosamente.

Se solamente nel mese di Luglio Samsung comunicò di aver raggiunto quota 10 milioni di Galaxy S III venduti vuol dire che in poco più di un mese la cifra è stata raddoppiata.

Anche il predecessore Galaxy S II è riuscito a raggiungere la soglia dei 20 milioni d’unità vendute ma il tempo impiegato è triplicato, circa 9 mesi.

Europa – 6 milioni
Asia – 4.5 milioni
North America – 4 milioni
South Korea – 2.5 milioni

Adesso toccherà a Samsung ed al suo Galaxy S III riuscire a mantenere quest’andamento di crescita anche se la concorrenza sarà spietata con nuovi smartphone HTC, Motorola, LG, Nokia ed Apple.
