CM10.1 | JELLY BEAN 4.2.2

Attualmente la Rom è compatibile con gli Hboot (tavole di partizione): STOCK, JBr3, Sense, Data++ e ha lo script A2SD incluso ma da attivare da terminale.

Prerequisiti:
1) Root, S-OFF (obsoleto ripetere che è un MUST avere quest'ultimo)
2) Recovery moddata (ClockWorkMod, AmonRA, 4EXT etc)
3) Partizione EXT3/EXT4 da 1GB (oltre non serve per A2SD)
4) Hboot Stock

Installazione:
1) Scaricare lo zip della Rom
2) Avviare il telefono in Recovery
3) Fare tutti i wipe, se arrivate da una Rom diversa o se state flashando una versione aggiornata di questa Rom con build differente
4) Installare le GApps (ed eventualmente altre patch) --->non è più necessario in quanto sono state incluse nella Rom le GApp più importanti.
5) Riavviare il telefono (abbiate pazienza, ci vorrà qualche minuto) e buon divertimento!

Attivazione A2SD:
1) Dopo l'installazione della Rom entrate nel drawer (menù applicazioni) e avviate il terminale
2) digitate

• su per ottenere i diritti di superuser
• a2sd install per attivare lo script
• y per spostare la dalvik-cache su sd-ext
• n per mantenere le app-data nella memoria interna
• y per riavviare il telefono

(questi sono i settaggi consigliati per un miglior utilizzo del telefono)

Grazie per aver messo in evidenza la 4.2 ma non mi è chiaro se il wifi tethering funzioni o meno visto che è nella lista sia delle cose che funzionano che di quelle che non funzionano?

Altra cosa rispettto alla 4.1 cosa cambia??

Il tethering pare funzioni solo via cavo usb, anche con app di terze parti non sembra funzionare. Questo è quello che mi è sembrato di capire leggendo il thread su xda, non ho provato personalmente.

iron scrive che il Wired Tether ( con cavetto) non funziona (però c'è il download del patch) - invece quello wifi funziona.

Vi avviso che ho aperto il thread su richiesta, la Rom non l'ho provata ancora quindi tutto quello che leggete non lo scrivo io bensì lo scrive lo sviluppatore su XDA

Installata la ROM ieri sera, avevo fatto un backup con My Backup Root e sto avendo problemi a ripristinare la app (venivo dall'ultima nightly della CM7), ma un pò alla volta le sto scaricando di nuovo. Facendo tutte le operazioni ieri sera ho notato sporadici riavvii, magari dovuti al fatto che stessi stressando troppo il cell .
Come fluidità rispetto alla CM7 che avevo è tutta un'altra storia (ma magari solo perchè non ho finito di installare tutte le app).
Mi manca solo una cosa: la possibilità di visualizzare la percentuale di carica della batteria (non mi basta il solo simbolo è troppo indicativo), qualcuno ha idea come fare?
Sto notando poi (ho attivo il Debug USB) che non riesco a vedere il cell collegato con cavo USB in modalità mass storage

C'è un'opzione per visualizzare la percentuale di carica sia se usi l'icona della batteria o il cerchio. Puoi anche visualizzare la percentuale nel lock screen.

Dove? Io non ho trovato alcuna opzione. Mi serve vederla nella Home.

La microsd è partizionata? Quanto è capiente?

Vengo da CM7.1 ed era partizionata (quella che esce con il cell da 4GB) con 1GB ext3 o ext4 ed il restante mass storage. Prima utilizzavo S2E e FreeSpace per visualizzare lo spazio libero delle diverse partizioni, ora con FreeSpace in SD-EXT nn mi viene riconosciuto e non mi segna alcunchè, può essere questo il problema per cui ho così poco spazio? Puoi dirmi come fare per controllare se la partizione SD-EXT è correttamente vista da questa ROM ed è montata? C'è un comando da terminale per controllare?
