HTC Desire Froyo

Invece di fare 1000 topic riguardanti l'update del nostro amato Desire, postiamo qui le nostre impressioni dopo il tanto atteso Froyo!

backup automatico andato a buon fine, non ho dovuto fare niente dopo l'ultimo reboot del terminale.

Novità:
Le novità di questa versione:

• Overall:
• - It's faster
• - Dialer has new Android robot, kinda 3D looking one now.
• - Now vibrates on shutdown
• - Screen can now also be rotated to the right!
• - New Task Switcher when holding Home button. Displays 8 apps instead of 6.
• - Android Cloud to Device Messaging support, Eg. ChromeToPhone to send links, maps directly to phone from chrome/firefox browser

  Lockscreen:
  
• - It's no longer possible to unlock the slide-down screen by pressing menu.
• - The screen unclock sequence can be set to engage after some minutes, or immediatly.
• - Can now be a pattern lock, PIN lock or an alphanumeric password
• - The lock pattern has grey middle buttons instead of black.
• - Instead of just the time of the next alarm time. It also shows which day.
  
  Keyboard:
  
• - Keyboard now allows for Chinese input
• - Keyboard now allows for quick language change.
• - User dictionary no longer jumps to top when editing a word
• - Seperate screen for deleting user dictionary words, allowing for batch deleting.
• - Bug: Pressing spacebar if keyboard is set to Russian (Pусский), will display an exclamation mark "!" instead of a space
  
  Camera/Camcorder:
  
• - Camera icons now rotate along with a smooth animation when rotating the phone
• - 3 codecs to choose from: H.263, H.264 and MPEG4
• - 720p Recording possible with MPEG4 Codec.
• - Flashlight can be set on during video recording.
  
  Contacts
• - Facebook tab has more features
  
  Messaging:
  
• - The bottom box to type text is bigger.
• - Now shows how many characters you have left from the start.
• - New icon for send.
• - New icon for attaching something.
• - Scrolls smoother when a conversation has a lot of messages.
  
  Browser:
  
• - Adobe Flash 10.1 support is built in (make sure plugins are allowed in settings!)
  
  Gallery:
  
• - Icons from the Sharing menu are smaller. In portrait mode, all are visible in 1 view.
  
  Gmail:
  
• - Labels now have same color as those in Gmail on the web.
• - Now displays your email adres all the time in the upper-right corner.
• - Displays a small icon of the person that send the mail if you have them in your address book.
• - When viewing a mail, there are now buttons to go to the next and previous mail.
• - Can copy text to clipboard now via menu button.
  
  Google Talk
  
• - New interface
• - Don't know of much more, I don't use GTalk.
  
  Market:
  
• - New option to allow automatic updates.
• - New seperate tab for app comments.
• - Can now mark comments as: Useful, not useful and spam.
  
  Music Player:
  
• - When no cover available, the music note is now green.
• - Pressing next has a much smoother CoverFlow animation
• - Genres are fixed now.
• - Pressing the left-button to open up the menu happens much faster.
• - Shuffle seems better (not sure, but don't bump into same song that often anymore).

Confermo, tutto apposto per l'installazione.
Però non mi fa spostare nessuna applicazione sulla sd.....nemmeno se la scarico di nuovo.

e l'ha spostata senza problemi

finalmente!! non dover più scrollare tra le mille applicazioni: TAB!

Paolo, hai provato a spostare google maps, o altri programmi che occupano molto spazio sulla sd??? a me non li sposta

penso che alcune applicazioni non siano ancora aggiornate per la 2.2 e quindi non è possibile spostarle (come da changelog) ma google maps non la sposta neanche a me.

Ragazzi froyo sposta su sd solo le app che supportano questa opzione e x ora sono poche e anche quelle che lo fanno non spostano tutti i dati, se guardate un po di kb rimangono sempe... x questo molti utenti (come me') usano le rom cucinate con opzione app2sd che installano tutto su sd... sorry

Confermo update ben riuscito. Qualche apps in più e qualche impostazione in aggiunta vedi sms con numero caratteri immessi e lingua. Per spostare le apps nessuna di quelle che ho installato è spostabile (ma ne ho ben poche quindi non faccio troppo testo)

Bene a sapersi....speriamo che modifichino alla svelta questi programmi

dopo brevissimo utilizzo di nuovo ho visto:
1) cambiata finestra che fa vedere le app in esecuzione (quella che compare premendo a lungo il tasto home)

2) qualche app in più che avete già segnalato voi

3) volume musichetta avvio più basso

4) interfaccia gmail cambiata (mi piace di più così)

5) possibilità di gestire più account gmail (ma per dir la verità non so se lo faceva già prima, forse non ci avevo mai fatto caso)

6) mi prende meglio il wifi. almeno adesso mi da sempre segnale max anche dove prima mi dava il segnale al 75%

voi cos'altro avete scoperto di nuovo?
