Ragazzi è uscita la nuova cyanogen 4.2.x !

Per lo changelog, guardate i primi due post su xda

Questa e' la prima ROM completamente opensource, non include piu' parti google/proprietarie, percio' per averle bisogna prima flashare la adp1 htc (per averle). In pratica la questione si riduce a flashare due zip invece che uno

PREREQUISITO: Come sempre dovete avere la recovery modificata (rav1.3.2 o superiore per esempio), quindi dovete o aver flashato la recovery rav come scritto nella Guida al root", o aver avviato temporaneamente la recovery rav con "fastboot boot nomerecovery.img" (dato in fastboot usb mode). E' consigliabile flashare la recovery comunque, per non aver problemi successivamente. SE volete usare il cmupdater, dovete assolutamente averla flashata

Patch 4.2.15 per Magic TIM/32A/EBI1: Andate qui (c'è anche il repo per il cmupdater, così quando esce una cyano, basta che la scaricate, aspettate che cmupdater vi segnali anche il kernel, scaricate anche quello e poi applicate entrambi

SOLO 32B/DREAM:
-Per chi vuole è disponibile anche il kernel con ramhack (10 mega presi dalla gpu), ovviamente solo per chi non usa giochi 3d. Quì la spiegazione: http://www.androidiani.com/forum/61403-post905.html

*Il nuovo zip della rom ADP1 non contiene google maps, poichè l'ho rimosso. Questo vi permette però di installare senza problemi o la versione hackata o quella del market. Inoltre, con il nuovo zip non c'è più il crasha delle gapps quando installate da zero la rom cyanogen.

Prima installazione:
-Mettete i tre zip (adp1 drc83, cyanogen e patch_ita) nella SD. Nel caso del magic tim, anche la patch 32a.
-Andate in recovery, accendendo il magic tenendo premuto HOME (ovviamente dovete aver flashato la solita recovery rootata!)
-Fate uno Wipe -> Wipe Data Partition (perderete i vostri dati)
-Se avete le app su sd e la recovery >=rav1.2.3, fate anche uno WIPE della partizione EXT2/3/4
-Flashate la rom adp1 per magic (Flash zip from sdcard e scegliete DRC83_base_defanged-nomaps.zip)
-Flashate la rom cyanogen (Flash zip from sdcard e scegliete la cyanogen)
-(se avete un magic tim) flashate anche la patch per TIM, in pratica il kernel compilato per 32a (Flash zip from sdcard..)
-Flashate la patch ita (Flash zip from sdcard...)
-Riavviate premendo reboot

Come aggiornare manualmente (se avete già la cyanogen precedente):
-Prendete la nuova cyanogen, mettetela su SD e flashatela da recovery (senza mettere prima la adp1 e senza wipare)*
-Applicate poi la patch ita perchè ad ogni aggiornamento la tastiera torna inglese)
-Se avete il 32a, flashate anche la nuova pach per tim.
-Riavviate premendo reboot

*potrebbe però essere necessario uno "wipe dalvik-cache" SE AVETE LE APPLICAZIONI SU SD (che non vi cancella i vostri dati, tranquilli), per esempio aggiornando alla 4.2.11.x

Come aggiornare con cmupdater:
-Se avete Vodafone Magic, quando il CMUpdater vi avvisa.. cliccate download e update
-Applicate poi la patch ita perchè ad ogni aggiornamento la tastiera torna inglese)
-Se avete il Magic TIM 32A, il buon elegos ha creato un repository modificato da mettere nel CMUpdater, andate quì, non dovrebbe servire la patch ita.
-Riavviate premendo reboot

FAQ
-Servono partizioni nella SD? No, non sono obbligatorie. Va benissimo la SD come appena comprata Invece nel caso siano presenti partizioni ext2/3/4+fat32+swap, la rom utilizzerà in automatico l'app2sd (ma non la swap, per quello ci vuole uno script)
-Mi mancano le suonerie! Metti la patch ita, quella con suonerie :-)
-La tastiera android suggerisce in inglese / non suggerisce! Niente paura! Basta applicare la patch ita di cui sopra!
-E la tastiera HTC si può mettere? Installa i due apk contenuti in questo zip (con astro o adb install): htc_ime_custom_settings4.zip
-Non mi vanno gli MMS Flasha la patch ita.. comprende anche gli apn! a quel punto da impostazioni apn fai "ripristina impostaz predefinite" e dovrebbero apparire gli apn del tuo operatore.. (a meno che nn hai promo web strane).. in ogni caso gli mms vanno, almeno con 3 e vodafone

anche avendo sotto la mia ion (che praticamente e' uguale) si blocca. secondo me cyanogen non si e' accorto degli odex

eh io sono via e sono dal pc dell unipd, non ho possibilita di fare un cavolo non avendo il cavo usb. ho fatto qualche prova scaricando gli zip direttamente, ma non posso repackare e metterlo nel cd
pero' se hai un pc sotto mano, prendi la rom adp1, metti i file audio e i file in /system/lib/hw della rom per ion, e per sicurezza anche il boot.img (anche se non credo serva, tanto poi viene sovrascritto). e alla fine zippa e risigna il tutto
a questo punto flasha il nuovo zip e subito dopo la rom di cyanogen, e dimmi!

comunque.. se la 1.6 "liscia" è più performante delle ultime cyanogen, questa nuova rom (1.6 + cyanogen tweak) deve essere qualcosa di super!!
