Ed ecco a voi il primo kernel Jelly Bean e la Sense 4+, che non è altro che il kernel stock (non sono ancora stati rilasciati i sorgenti) modificato che ci regala il RW permanente del sistema, il supporto agli init.d in avvio della rom e anche un po di OC (anche se non se ne sente il bisogno )

riavviate in recovery

Metodo 1
- utilizzando l'app Flash Image GUI con istruzioni allegate. CONSIGLIATO

Metodo 2 tramite fastboot

1 - FATE UN NANDROID BACKUP IN RECOVERY SEMPRE
- riavviate in recovery
- andate nel menù backup
- se volete date il nome in modo da ricordarvi in futuro che tipo di rom contiene il nand backup
- fate partire il backup tramite lo slide nella parte bassa dello schermo

2 - scaricare la rom che volete flashare
3 - aprite lo zip e copiate la boot.img nella cartella dove avete fastboot
4 - mettere la rom.zip nella root della sd
5 - spegnete il telefono e premete power+vol- fino a che non vedrete questa schermata

6 - andate in fastboot e vedrete comparire la scritta rossa "fastboot usb" quando collegherete il telefono al pc tramite cavo
7 - aprite il terminale sul pc
8 - spostatevi con cd nella cartella dove avete fastboot
9 - digitate
fastboot flash boot boot.img
10 - scollegate il telefono dal pc e riavviate in recovery
11 - andate nel menù " wipe " e fate i seguenti wipe
- factory reset
- wipe system
- wipe cache
12 - andate nel menù "install" e andate a scegliere la vostra rom

Il Dev consiglia caldamente di flashare la boot.img da fastboot la prima volta che viene installato questo kernel. In aroma viene proposto di flashare la boot.img, se l'avete fatto prima da fastboot scegliete NO, se non la flasherete manualmente scegliete ovviamente SI.
PS. La boot.img si trova nella cartella BOOT all'interno dello zip

NOTES:

The source hasn't been released so we can't do a custom kernel, but we can customize the stock kernel.


Configuration
Your choices in the Aroma installer are used to build a configuration file. The config file is located at /etc/elementalx.conf. You can edit this file to change kernel settings. Whatever is set in this file will take effect when the device is booted.


The Kernel
This installs the stock HTC Jelly Bean kernel. However, the boot.img is slightly different. It has init.d support added to the ramdisk. This is to load the custom modules at boot. Any stock JB kernel with init.d support will work with the modules and config files my installer installs. So no need to worry about fastboot flash and all that on hboot 1.13 as long as you already have a JB stock kernel with init.d support. This includes previous installations of Elemental-S-JB.


Write to /system
The system write module needs no parameters. Load it and it works, but it's extremely important this is done right away after booting. Most Jelly Bean ROMs will likely include this module from now on. It won't hurt anything if your ROM already installs it. Trying to insert the module more than once won't cause any problems, it will simply fail to load and you won't even notice anything happened unless you like reading log messages.


Overclocking
Overclocking is optional. If you select "Stock CPU Frequencies" in the installer or 0 in /etc/elementalx.conf, the overclocking module will not be loaded. The overclocking module requires no parameters. Inserting the module makes available CPU frequencies up to 1890MHz. Whatever frequency you chose in the installer will be set at boot for both CPUs. Frequencies can be changed any time using apps like No Frills or Kernel Tuner.

Allora cè da dire subito che se si usa flash Image gui non viene attivato l'oc, quindi poi ho riflashato da revovery senza fastboot flash della boot.ing :-) si usò kernel tuner, sembra assolutamente compatibile, l'unico fatto è ne non sono stati inseriti altri governor ( ci sono solo quelli di fabbrica:-( ) e credo che l'undervolt non sia modificabile(si sceglie solo se adottarlo o no dall'aroma) ma di questo non sono sicuro, anche perché non riesco a trovarlo su kernel tuner XD adesso sto provando se regge ad alte frequenze, poi provo il downclock:-) come sempre grazie ricthc

Io ho usato flash image gui per flasharlo, tutto ok confermo che l'uv non è modificabile da kernel tuner, provo a cercare in /system se c'è un qualche file la possibilità di modificare l'uv, anche perché mi piacerebbe sapere a quanto sto

Io l'ho messo alla frequenza stock di 1512mhz poi ti faccio sapere se trovo qualcosa grazie a te

Edit: le configurazioni scelte in aroma è possibile cambiarle in un file .conf dove c'è la posizione corretta nel secondo post, purtroppo per l'uv non è possibile modificarle a manina, la scelta è tra 1,2 e 3 che corrispondono alla scelta in aroma, undervolt, stock freq e overclock che rispettivamente corrispondono a -25, 0 e +25 mV...vediamo se con il prossimo kernel ci lascia anche la possibilità di modificarle
