Con il file di prova è andato.

Con il file di gates mov mi da ancora lo stesso problema, non so se dipenda da me, ma mi chiede di che tipo è l'input:

e conclude la conversione solo mettendo 240x180, ma il risultato è un video di pochi pixel in altezza..

Uhm... penso che il problema sia in FFmpeg questa volta... Comunque quell'errore è perché non è stato encodato video-tmp.mp4, potresti postare l'intero log per favore?

Ma in preferences.avc è impostato a 500k di default, dovrebbe essere sufficiente

no, il mio file preferences.avc è questo:

audio_bitrate=128k
video_bitrate=500k
device_height=320
device_width=480

## Acer A1 Liquid, HTC Desire, Nexus One
# => 480x800
## HTC (Dream, Hero, Legend, Magic), Samsung (i5700, i7500)
# => 320x480
## HTC Tatoo
# => 240x320
## Motorola (Droid, Milestone), Sony Xperia X10
