Please make sure you have the latest HTC Hima OTA update installed prior to modifying your device

Use the latest TWRP Beta from here by @captain_throwback and pay close attention to Post 2, this will preserve the ability to restore your stock system image and receive OTA updates without the use of an RUU.

A full wipe is not necessary, although always recommended to avoid issues

First boot will take approximately 10 minutes due to Art optimization
(Your device will get rather warm, don't panic, the M9's super sleek alloy body is like 1 big heatsink)

A quick whistle stop tour of flashing a custom build
Unlock your device boot loader via > HTC Dev
Flash the above mentioned TWRP recovery image
Nandroid backup your entire stock system or previous build
Reboot your device and copy the LeeDrOiD rom. zip to your internal memory
Reboot to recovery (Power off > Hold Vol down & power > reboot to bootloader > reboot to recovery
Select the install option and locate the LeeDrOiD rom zip on your sdcard
Follow the Aroma installer & be patient
