Ciao a tutti, ho letto poco fa, questo post su xda "[TOOL][29 MAY] HTC Sensation/XE/4G Super Utility (all in one) by kgs1992 v6.3 - xda-developers" penso che possa essere un tool importante, chiedo gentilmente ai mod se possono creare una guida !!


TESTED ALL OPTIONS (Including S OFF)

NOW SUPPORTS TEMPROOT + JB METHOD & HTC DEV + JB METHOD FOR HBOOT 1.2x !
ALSO, ROOTING SUPPORT FOR ALL DEVICES (INCLUDING S ON!)


This tool provides a very easy way for any of these:

Reboot your device normally, or to bootloader or recovery.
S-Off for Hboot ≤1.18 devices & Hboot 1.2x
Installing 4EXT Recovery for all S-Off / HTC Dev Unlocked devices (Download recovery.img attached below)
Rooting for all devices
Write SuperCID or custom CID for all S-Off devices
Install firmware for all S-Off / HTC Dev Unlocked devices
Flash ZIP from recoveryfor all S-Off / HTC Dev Unlocked devices with custom recovery installed
Flash PG58IMG.zip
Flash boot.img for HTC Dev unlocked devices
Flash ENG Hboot for devices that used JuopunutBear to S Off, but did't get *JuopunutBear* ststus after S Off

Best suited for noobs and people with dead screens or volume/power keys that don't work properly, since 90% of the interaction is with the computer.

I have spent a lot of time perfecting this utility. It is now safe to use!!
Read through the instructions and everything will execute smoothly.
The reason why this tool works is because I've put a lot of time into it. I will continue to update this as frequently as I can.


Intended for Windows users only!

Step by step Instructions:

Uninstall HTC Sync (only if you want to use this for S Off)
Install HTC drivers from here and reboot your PC.
Make sure you set HTC Sync as default mode with Ask Me Everytime disabled and Enable USB Debugging option.
(Default mode & ask me options are in Settings>Connect to PC. USB Debugging option is in Settings>Developer Options)
Ensure that you have a battery level of atleast 60% before using this tool for S Off
Download and open the attached zip. Unzip it to any convenient location.
Open the main directory which should be the folder named "KGS_Utility_vX.X", inside this folder there is a batch file named "Menu".
Run the batch file and follow the onscreen instructions.
For writing custom CID, please refer here for a list of valid CIDs based on provider/locations.

nn si capisce bene se e' sufficente il tools per avere s-off per hboot 1.27 SENZA ricorrere al metodo jb, oppure il programma e' un aiuto per il metodo jb in quanto incorpora lo sblocco ed i vari componenti software.
Mi sono registrato per porre la domanda, ma essendo nuovo iscritto nn me lo fa fare.
Qualcuno puo' aiutarmi?

pare che per ottenere s-off con hboot 1.27 bisogna usare per forza il metodo jb.
Vi scrivo la traduzione( ho usato google traduttore ed un pò d'intuito ):

Ciao ragazzi, per vodafone Irlanda e' disponibile ultimo aggiornamento ics per sensation, tutto stock( penso intenda rom stock, bootloade bloccato ecc ecc ). root necessario ed ho provato il tools, penso sia l'opzione 4( il tools e' in dos e ci sono varie opzioni a cui corrispondono varie azioni, il 4 e' per ottenere il root ) il telefono e' riavviato qualche volta e chiuso il comando( la procedura ), i permessi di root non li ho ottenuti, voglio anche s-off senza usare il metodo dei fili( intende il metodo jb ), cercando di azzeccare la guida non voglio rovinare tutto, e' il mio nuovo e solo telefono. Ogni suggerimento sara' apprezzato.

incollo la risposta dello sviluppatore:
"Since you have the latest ICS update, you are on Hboot 1.27.0000. This implies that you will need to use the JB method for temporary root. The JB method is the only S Off method for Hboot 1.2x & yes, it involves the wire trick. The wire trick is safe if you follow all instructions properly.
Alternatively, you can unlock your bootloader using HTC Dev and then use the rooting method, for which either S Off or unlocked bootloader may be required"

TRADUZIONE
Dal momento che hai l'ultimo aggiornamento ICS, hai Hboot 1.27.0000. Ciò implica che sarà necessario utilizzare il metodo JB di root temporanea. Il metodo JB è il solo metodo di S-Off per Hboot 1.2x e sì, si tratta del trucco del filo. Il trucco del filo è sicuro se si seguono tutte le istruzioni correttamente.
In alternativa, è possibile sbloccare il bootloader con HTC Dev e quindi utilizzare il metodo di root(penso si riferisca all'opzione 4 del suo tool ke esegue il root ), per il quale e' richiesto S Off e bootloader sbloccato.

Ho tradotto correttamente?
A sto punto mi chiedo l'utilita' del tool( almeno per noi italiani ) visto l'ottima guida
