Chiunque ne conosce delle altre è pregato di scriverle nei commenti di questo post, in modo che aggiorni la discussione e diventi sempre più lunga.

[ROM][27/11][ICS] ICS4Fire [3G/DATA][v4][STOPPED]

Wifi will never work on this ROM, because hero and buzz have different wifi chipset. If anyone can get a ICS rom with the BCM Wifi chipset ported I can get wifi to work.
I have not got a full fix for the synaptics softkeys yet, flash the softkey mod if you have a synaptics screen or your softkeys do not work.
SuperUser is included, but it fc's, you need to flash the 3.0.7 efgh zip file from Superuser

Wifi will not work on this ROM

[v4]Partially fixed synaptics touchscreen driver, only softkeys do not work with this ROM and that screen. You need to use the softkeys mod posted below if you want fully functioning softkeys.
[v4]Added IDC file for synaptics touchscreen, should work, if not, I have another one.
[v4]Added superuser binary and app - force closes so you need to download the zip and flash it at the link on the top of this page.
[v3]Switched to full package update, if you are coming from another rom, wipe data, if you are upgrading this rom, just flash.
[v3]Added SuperUser App due to request, seems to be not working, still need to flash the above file.
[v2]Data/3G works, calling does too, and so does texting, not sure about mic so can somebody test from the other end of the call?
[v2]Fixed build.prop with CM7 and original merge so now it picks up your network.
[v2]Swapped existing libhtc_ril.so with the one for the wildfire
[v1]Got touchscreen working and softkeys, but home softkey does not work, not so important though, back, menu and search work.
[v1]Using InfinityPLAY+ kernel with atmel.c hack to enable touchscreen, sources on my github. It says #14 for version number but it is only #10 with tweaks compiled an extra 4 times for testing.

What works:
Touchscreen, this thread helped alot with it, just had to swap and switch a bit with the code because of differences between the MSM8X60 and the MSM722X boards.

What does not work:
Bluetooth, WiFi, some other stuff.
This is just a ROM to play with, arco will bring us the real ICS.
THERE IS NO BOOT.IMG, I USE A ZIMAGE INSTEAD!
PERFORM A NANDROID BEFORE FLASHING, THIS ROM IS EXPERIMENTAL!

Wipe data first, otherwise it will fc on com.android.phone.

Okay, schiznik has compiled AOSP for the wildfire from source, but he didn't get touchscreen to work, it is kernel related.

I have took his update.zip, added my kernel to it and then repackaged it.
In the kernel I have made the following modifications:
- Fixed atmel driver for ICS touchscreen support
- Fixed home button (thanks to arco for this)
- Added my compiled wifi module to the rom, so theoretically wifi should work.

As I do not have a wildfire anymore I have no way of testing it, so if people can test it for me I would be grateful.

Feedback needed, what does, and what doesn't work?

This is mostly the work of schiznik, he deserves all the credit, I only fixed the touchscreen.

si pensa di si, ma si parla di febbraio per la RC a quanto si dice in giro, quindi per una stable ci vorrà ancora un pò...
