Benvenuto nel mercatino delle pulci di Linux!! :D
Reports reboot at 2.1.6 :
~ Undervolted -100mV
~ Freq. 468 - 312 (1220mV-1180mV)
~ Gov : Ondemand, I/O : sio
I'm using a video camera and my phone suddenly reboots, the above information is my kernel settings at the time before i'm using video camera :x
Thank you, will you release next kernel of Cor Plenus again?
Stable at:
~ UV -140mV
~ Freq. 832-312 (reboot if i'm using 832-468)
~ Gov : Minmax (i love this gov.) I/O : vr/cfq/sio
2.1.6 is known as unstable. You should try with 2.1.5 and see if it still reboots. There is still a slight chance that even the 468Mhz frequency is "rejected" by the HW. That's why I added the minmax governor. :D
2.1.7 is on the way. It moves the zRAM into external loadable modules and it is disabled by default. I was checking a couple of other things, but I have been busy with the Fast Dormancy. Now I reached a battery draining of less than 1% on stand-by with H3G (3 Italy) having the 3G and autosync always enabled. It has nothing to do with the kernel, though, and it varies by network.
Alright, ongoing downgrade to 2.1.5
would you add the new/more governor on 2.1.7 ? I <3 7 :D d
Fast Dormancy?
*#9900#* is that? o.O
2.1.7 will have the same governors of 2.1.6. I am no adding any more governor, they are too many already!! rotfl
*#9900# is related to the FD indeed, but the issue is a bit more complex. The Fast Dormancy thread I made is one of the first threads right now. You may check it with Google translator. But it's a bit messy in Italian as well, the way Samsung implemented the FD on Galaxy phones is confusing the least. And apparently the configuration was just wrong for my network (H3G Italy). Now it works fine, though. But because I made it to!! :D
