    How to pull out kernel from stock firmware with .pda extension? so, if i installing custom kernel, i can back to stock kernel with flashing stock kernel extension .pda from odin :o

    Please answer.
    I can speak italian, and bad in english.

    There is a link to download a flashable stock kernel (extracted by Michelasso from the XILG1 firmware) in this forum...you can search in the Cor Optimi thread for it..i think it's in the first page.

    Once you have the file PDA_blablabla.tar.md5 made with splitfus or Odinatrix you can untar it with

    tar -xvf PDA_blablabla.tar.md5

    One of the files will be boot.img. That's the kernel image for you..

    Okay, wrong extension, my mean .tar.md5 so i can use/flash it via odin in .pda box

    Just extract the original rom into a directory and with splitfus2 use this command line to extract only the kernel image from it.
