Salve a tutti e benvenuti nel Thread che vi permetterà di installare qualcosa di veramente rivoluzionario sul vostro device... il suo nome è:



Codename Android è un porting non ufficiale del dev di XDA rtfpessoa.

Quindi non è basata ne su Onecosmic ne su CM9 è un'altro progetto indipendente dai 2 appena citati.

Codename Android è una Rom completamente open source che si basa principalemente su velocità, usabilità, e sull'uso di tutte le features migliori che si possano trovare.

La missione del team è di diffondere l'amore per l'Open Source Android. Inoltre insieme alla Rom ci saranno anche dei tutorial con l'obiettivo di coinvolgere quante più persone possibile nel progetto che siano semplici user o dev.

Prima di procedere:

Ricordate che la Rom è in fase di sviluppo, è usabile giornalmente ed è stabile tuttavia non si escludono bug.
Solo gli utenti esperti dovrebbero installarla!
Valgono le solite regole ossia:
Non Chiedere quando sarà rilasciata una nuova versione.
Non segnalare bug noti.
Se non sapete cosa fate non buttatevi a casaccio!

Installazione:

Ovviamente Batteria carica al 100% e ricalibrata (3-4 cicli di carica)
1) Assicurarsi di avere permessi di Root e CWM
2) Avere i Bootloader di GB (Ottenibili flashando una qualsiasi Rom GB che sia ufficiale o leaked es. JW1, JVU, ecc...)
3) Da CWM fare un wipe di tutto (data,cache,dalvik)
4) Flashare quindi la Rom e le GApps
5) Riavviare (non cambiare kernel al primo reboot)
NOTA: Se il telefono va in bootlop o notate strani bug o rallentamenti eccessivi entrare in CWM fare un wipe di tutto e riflashare la Rom

Se si proviene da Rom Team ICSSGS, semplicemente fare un wipe di tutto e flashare la Rom

Consigli personali:

- Appena installata la Rom consiglio di andare in GalaxyS settings e aggiustare (se necssario) i colori e il mDNIe mode

- In Impostazioni trovere 3 voci:
1) Interface --> vi permetterà di personalizzare al massimo lo stile del vostro device come Lockscreen, Batteria, Carrier, ecc...
2) Performance --> In startup Tweaks: Ho abilitato startup tweaks e spuntato le prime 2 e le ultime 2 opzioni
--> Processor Speed: In Cpu Governor personalmente ho messo LAZY (liberi di provarne altri), e come Maximum CPU Speed se volete l'oc settate 1200 o valori superiori (attenzione potrebbe essere necessario modificare anche il vattaggio per frequenze superiori)
--> Memory Management: ho messo in Free Memory 75Mb e ho spuntato set on boot
Infine ho disabilitato la boot-animation mettendo la spunta sull'ultima opzione
3) Launcher vi permetterà di personalizzare il launcher Trebuchet

-DSPManager vi permetterà di abilitare l'equalizzatore e di impostare altre opzioni per l'audio (Personalmente ho abilitato l'amplificazione dei bassi e l'equalizzatore amplificando gli Alti)

We’ve added Nightlies, what exactly are those?

hai fatto bene aprire questo thread, la rom l'ho provata ieri e promette bene…l'ho tolta solo perchè c'era qualcosa che non andava nella tastiera del telefono….facendo una telefonata ad un numero verde, quando mi chiedevano di digitare dei numeri in successione la loro segreteria acquisiva un numero non esatto, tipo, doppiava quello che digitavo….non ho approfondito perchè mi serviva il tel, ma la rom andava veramente bene….

Io la monto da 2 giorni ormai e a parte i bug noti (che si verificano raramente e non ne inficiano l'usabilità) non riscontro particolari problemi.

Secondo me è decisamente migliore della Onecosmic in vari aspetti: Personalizzazione, Porting di app (alcune dalla CM9), e anche velocità.
Per non parlare della libertà di modifiche e tutorial che offre rispetto al tizio della Onecosmic...

Grazie per il thread dj, prime domande: Non ho capito che significa che il segnale non viene mostrato, seconda cosa tu hai risolto in qualche modo il problema che il pc non riconosce la sd esterna?

Io penso di aspettare alla nuove release del 12 febbraio!

Per la prima question: Ti vengono mostrate sempre 4 tacche o nessuna quindi non la situazione reale
Per la seconda c'è un programma free dal market che ti forza il montaggio della sd

Personalmente e in anteprima ti dico che sto lavorando su questa Rom per la prossima Tiramisu.......

Salve... anche io monto o sto cercando di montare questa ROM giornalmente ed effettivamente concordo col dire che è forse una delle migliori che ho montato ma dopo un uso in cui la impegno parecchio mi accade qualcosa di strano: ad esempio spesso durante lo scrolling si blocca e devo fare un reboot... oppure il led diventa di un colore molto innaturale e si riavvia autonomamente, oppure una volta ha eseguito un reboot mentre non usavo nemmeno il cell e dopo che succedono queste cose diventa spaventosamente laggosa e poco utilizzabile... ci tengo a precisare che ogni qualvolta installo una ROM nuova parto da situazioni estremamente pulite... Per chi l'ha provata senza riscontrare nessuna delle nefaste situazioni in cui mi sono trovato, avete per caso modificato qualcosa? C'è un modo per renderla meno instabile?

Al momento ho istallato il kernel semaphore 0.8.0 che effetivamente fa fuonzionare tutto abbastanza bene... anche se con il devil + lagfree i giochi mi giravano più veloci...

EDIT: Sapresti consigliarmi qualche (a tuo parere) buona configurazione per i colori? mi sembrano un po' spenti...
