You do not need to be Rooted you do not need to Edit your Build Prop. (Unless you are Running a Samsung Tablet or another Tablet) Phones should work without root or editing your build prop.
I just updated my HTC One M8 to the Newest Rom with the Official RUU (Lollipop 5.0.2 / 4.25.654.14)
I zipped Everything for you, and you can download it from my Dropbox here
Samsung Gear S 2.2.15022599
I downloaded all of the Gear S 2.2.15022599
1st, Installed Gear 2.2.15022599 (First)
2nd, Install Everything in Extracted Folder
3rd, Install Everything in the Downloaded Folder
4th, Open Samsung Gear and Pair your Device let it go through it's routine of reseting your Gear, Once the Gear has been reset you will get an Error Host Manager Has forced Close.
5th, Disable Bluetooth (this stops the force closing)
6th, Uninstall Host Manager
7th, Install Host Manager 2.2.14102499 (Inside the Install After you get Host Manager Force close Folder)
8th, Enable Bluetooth
9th, Open Samsung Gear (Cancel ANY and ALL Updates)
It should now go to the Next Screen for the Privacy Notice ETC, Voila you are done now you can setup your Device.
Phone Calls Work, Text Messages Work, Application Notifications Work, Changing Clocks from App works, Here App Works, Nike + Works, Contacts Work,
Svoice only works with Samsung Devices
Weather Only works and shows on Samsung Devices with Touchwiz
Music transfer and image Transfer does not work.
(To get apps to your Gear S you will need to be rooted and edit your build prop to get samsung store installed BUT installation of apps isn't working properly so that is a bust still)
Thanks to @
Akram and @
Brendo for providing the Files... I just found a Workaround for Lollipop, and thanks to Everyone Else who has helped elaborate and help others with getting this to work.
