  • BEST SMARTPHONE 2017 assegnato a iPhone X

“Our vision has always been to create an iPhone that is entirely screen. One so immersive the device itself disappears into the experience. And so intelligent it can respond to a tap, your voice, and even a glance. With iPhone X, that vision is now a reality. Say hello to the future.”

Gli altri dispositivi in gara erano, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, LG V30, Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8 Plus, Samsung Samsung Galaxy Note 8

  • DISRUPTIVE DEVICE INNOVATION AWARD assegnato a Apple con la tecnologia Apple TrueDepth Camera

“This new category saw numerous technology innovations centred on mobile devices considered by the judges. After much deliberation, Apple’s TrueDepth Camera (and associated sensors) emerged as the clear winner. Although facial recognition has been implemented on rival smartphones, Apple’s solution offers an outstanding level of performance and is the natural evolution from a fingerprint sensor. It allows seamless unlocking of the device and secure transactions just by looking at the phone. The potential for the camera technology to be closely integrated alongside ARKit was highlighted by the group. The judges were also impressed by the clever way Apple has integrated this new hardware element into the software making it immediately available to applications that already used Apple’s TouchID capability”

Le altre tecnologie in gara erano Apple ARKit, Google Pixel Visual Core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, Samsung Samsung 18:9 Display Technology

  • BEST WEARABLE MOBILE TECHNOLOGY assegnato a Bragi The Dash Pro

“A good quality, innovative product from the company that pioneered the hearables product category. It is a significant enhancement to the original and also brings some meaningful differentiation to the market.”

Le altre tecnologie in gara erano Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro, Samsung Gear IconX (2018), Samsung Gear Sport, Vodafone SUB2 Connectivity and Body Sensors

  • BEST CONNECTED CONSUMER DEVICE assegnato a BullGuard for Dojo

This is intersecting a critical market need at exactly the right time. In the days of waning personal privacy and rising adoption of smart home devices, more people want to fight back, and they need a consumer-friendly tool to secure their networks and devices.”

Gli altri partecipanti erano J-Reality” MR Smart Glasses, Mondicon & Roamability We.Stream, Samsung Gear 360, ZTE Smart Door Lock
