Cliccando sul pulsante “Open in Docs”, infatti, veniva chiesto all’utente di consentire a “Google Docs” l’accesso al proprio account Google. Di fatto, qualcuno è riuscito a creare un’app capace di identificarsi come Documenti Google, in grado di ingannare quegli utenti che non prestano particolare attenzione.
Prontamente, Google è intervenuta per risolvere il problema, pubblicando un tweet dall’account Twitter di GMail.

Successivamente, una dichiarazione ufficiale è stata rilasciata attraverso l’account di Google Docs.

Insomma, sembra che il problema sia stato risolto. Ricordatevi, comunque, di segnalare sempre ogni tentativo di phishing ed ogni email che ritenete sospetta. Non abbassate mai la guardia!
