Gli smartphone della famiglia Galaxy non deludono mai e l’utente anonimo di 4chan avrebbe visto immagini ed ascoltato rappresentati Samsung parlare di questo device.
Secondo la fonte il colosso sud-coreano vorrebbe presentare a tutto il mondo il nuovo Galaxy S III al Mobile World Congress 2012 di Barcellona, per poi lanciarlo sui mercati di tutto il mondo per metà 2012.
Forse questo potrebbe realmente accadere poichè, come sappiamo, Samsung ha presentato il Galaxy S II all’ultimo Mobile World Congress; ma se leggete attentamente le caratteristiche che questo smartphone dovrebbe avere sono sicuro che resterete sciocccati. Ecco il post ufficiale:
Samsung Galaxy S III:
I personally found their talk of the Galaxy S III much more interesting. They didn’t have a working model of the phone, but they had pictures and slides with specs/info:
– Samsung is planning to reveal the Samsung Galaxy S III at the 2012 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Samsung will try to get a simultaneous worldwide release for the Galaxy S III mid 2012.

– The phone will come with an inbuilt NFC chip.– The phone will have Androids latest Ice Cream Sandwich software and an all new TouchWiz 5 which has been in co-development with Google during the development of the Galaxy Nexus, so according to the Samsung representatives, it isn’t as “intrusive to Android” as previous TouchWiz versions were. It seems TouchWiz will play a minor role and only have little improvements to ICS. It won’t control the user experience.
– One of the reasons why they’re not going with a full TouchWiz experience is for a few reasons, one being that the ICS experience is very user friendly already and also it will also Samsung to update software on their phones at a faster rate than they have in the past.
– Price wasn’t revealed, but for all the specs of the phone, I’m guessing it’ll be very expensive.

Se ragioniamo un secondo, possiamo soffermarci subito sul processore, che secondo la fonte, dovrebbe essere un quad-core da 2 GHz. Ciò potrebbe anche essere possibile poichè sappiamo che le nuove CPU da 28 nm hanno un clock di max 2.5 GHz, ma se pensiamo che gli attuali PC montano processori meno potenti sembra davvero improbabile ritrovarla all’interno di uno smartphone.
Come sempre il display dovrebbe essere il punto di forza del Galaxy S III. Com’è stato per il Galaxy S ed il Galaxy S II, anche il terzo genito avrà il suo Super AMOLED III, sempre secondo la fonte. Le misure di quest’ultimo, forse accettabili, 4.65 pollici potrebbero non essere reali in quanto la risoluzione citata sarebbe di 1280×1024 pixel, cioè visualizzazione in 4:3, molto improbabile. Sarebbe stato più credibile qualora fosse stata segnalata una risoluzione di 1280×720 pixel.
Il sistema operativo indicato dalla fonte dovrebbe essere il tanto atteso Ice Cream Sandwich con una nuova interfaccia TouchWiz 5 realizzata in collaborazione con Google durante i lavori per il Galaxy Nexus. La nuova TouchWiz dovrebbe essere meno invasiva rispetto alle versioni precedenti, dovrebbe portare piccole migliorie a ICS e non cambierà l’esperienza dell’utente con la nuova versione Android.
Inoltre questo gioiellino di tecnologia dovrebbe avere una batteria da 2.250 mAh, una fotocamera posteriore da 10 megapixel capace di registrare video FullHD (1080p) a 60fps ed il supporto alla tecnologia NFC. Chissà se tutto ciò potrà non pesare su una batteria da 2.250 mAh.
Dal punto di vista estetico il Galaxy S III non dovrebbe fare passi indietro, sappiamo che l’azienda sud-coreana ci tiene alla linea, infatti lo spessore dovrebbe essere di 9mm con un corpo in metallo e vetro. Estetica davvero molto bella ma sicuramente molto fragile, il vetro non promette bene.
Questo è tutto. Chissà se gli smartphone nel 2012 faranno questo bel passo avanti. L’anno nuovo porterà sicuramente molte novità nel campo tecnologico; i nostri amati produttori di smartphone e tablet ci regaleranno dispositivi fantastici come quello presentato in questo rumor?
