Dovereste incontrarvi voi due, vi riescono le due metà differenti della faccenda :D

@andre per questo genere di domanda di fa prima a usare gugle che a chiedere su un forum e aspettare risposta, cmq schiacci f8 al boot e scegli disabilita controllo firma driver o una cosa del genere (sopravvive solo fino allo spegnimento del pc).

Poi devi essere veloce nell'installare i driver da gestione periferiche, il telefonino sta nella modalità giusta una decina di secondi

@lemike me se attacchi a telefono acceso che succede ? è riconosciuto da mtk dt?

Cmq, nell'ordine, scarica la versione aggiornata (ti da il link il programma medesimo), e prova che capita a manina, da un prompt dei comandi dentro la cartella adb.

Scrivi adb shell e vedi cosa succede.

Perdonami se ti richiamo, non sono un'idiota e di root ne ho già eseguiti molti e su svariati terminali, ma devo ammettere che è anche colpa mia se mi sono fidato di ciò che trovo sul tuo primo post, hai mai provato a scaricare la versione 2.44 del tuo link, se no prova, vedrai che non funziona (non ti può nemmeno dare un link in quanto non si avvia), ho provato ora la 2.45 scaricata da un'altra fonte e va, ho riprovato a scaricare la tua e non va.

A) Il download del file funziona perfettamente

B) dei 4 modelli presi in considerazione ci sono stati più di OTTOCENTO downloads, allo stato attuale.
Ti pare che se il link non funzionava dovevo aspettare il 2 di luglio e la tua cooperazione per esserne informato ?

C) Il file non è specifico come le recovery, se un download non funziona basta scaricarselo da un'altra parte e, segnalarlo (gentilmente)

D) In ogni caso qualsiasi guida viene scritta in un determinato momento, da quel momento la roba linkata può essere aggiornata, i siti sulle quali è hostata possono sparire, ecc... ecc... mi pare la norma.

Scusa ancora, il mio appunto non voleva certo essere un'offesa, e, si il download funziona perfettamente ma il file scaricato non funziona (fatta una prova su otto diversi pc con browser e sistemi operativi diversi, unica cosa in comune avg), ovviamente aprendo google ho recuperato il file funzionante (quello specificato nel post precedente) ed ho ottenuto il root su sistema operativo xp 32 bit (era il primo pc a portata di mano).

When I use the SP Flash Tool, select Scatter-loading and select your modified recovery file and press "Download", I get this Windows dialog with the title "Download Warning":

"Not ALL images are correctly loaded, which may cause boot up issue! Do you still want to go on downloading anyway?" Using search in this forum it does not look as if anyone has asked about this warning. Is it safe to proceed or if not, what could the problem be? Feel free to respond in Italian, I'll be able to read that.

Yes it's normal, and it's safe to proceed.

Sp flash tool just assume you are going to flash a whole rom, which is not our case, so it assume somthing is going wrong (which is not our case too :) )

Thanks for fast response. I'm in Denmark and I speak and read Spanish, so Italian is not that far away :-)

I now tried to proceed but get the following: "Error: Initializing the scatter file failed. Please check the name of the scatter file which you load is legal." I'm using the "recovery_mod.img". Maybe I already got it loaded but I see now difference when starting the phone in recovery mode. Still see the menu with the orange letters (after getting rid of the Chinese which was there in the first place). Any suggestions.

Hello again The Solutor. From the recovery menu on the phone, I have the option to select:

Now send the package you want to apply to the device with "adb sideload <filename>"

Is that of any help when I apparently cannot make the download from the PC the way you describe?

Ok.

We should start from the beginning.

SP flash tool expects a scatter file named MT6577_Android_scatter_emmc.txt, if is not your case you should rename it accordingly.

The chinese menu is not the recovery, is a different mode (not really used here) you can trigger it with volume - and power button.

So the orange recovery is still the original one. The modded ones are blueish or yellowish depending on what you are going to flash CWM or TWRP (look at the pictures in message #1).

So the other questions should follow the proper installation of the modded recovery.
