Mi accontenterei di un miglior uso ed ottimizzazione della piattaforma hardware e un minor consumo della batteria....ma non m'illudo troppo.

Allora, io ho fatto anche il backup con NVFlash (che non è necessario per flashare la rom, ma è indispensabile se si volesse un domani tornare ad utilizzare il bootloader precedente).
Successivamente, se non lo si è già fatto in precedenza, si effettua il root e si installa una recovery modificata (io ho usato la twrp) e poi segue la procedura in 12 punti nel thread su xda che riporto qui sotto:

1. Download Official JB Update and Hairy Bean v1.2 and AndroWook updater.
    .
    2. Open the AndroWook Updater and copy the folder within to the root of the C drive
    .
    3. Copy the Official JB Update zip to your PC desktop.
    .
    4. Open the zip just copied to PC desktop and copy the blob file within to the C:\AndroWook updater\fastboot folder.
    .
    5. Copy the Official JB zip you extracted to the PC desktop and Hairy Bean v1.2 to your TP. Ideally on to a removable micro SD but if not then onto internal storage.
    .
    6. Reboot in recovery, wipe and flash Official JB zip. Install may say it has failed.
    .
    7. Reboot and wait whilst progress bar updates on ASUS splash screen. Then when the bar has gone wait for the system to boot up....(if it will).
    .
    8. If TP boots into stock JB fine then go to step 10. If it does not boot then go to step 9.
    .
    9. Open AndroWook JB Updater Part 2 on PC and follow on screen prompts.
    .
    10. Open either AndroWook JB TWRP or CWM Recovery Flasher on PC or MAC and follow on screen prompts. **NOTE** Both recoveries had to be re-written for the new JB bootloader and as such CWM can not perform Nandroid backup's currently where as TWRP can but CWM is slightly more stable than TWRP. Recovery that is flashed POST update is TF300 recovery so please do not try to update with TF201 recovery.
    .
    11. Reboot into recovery, perform wipe and flash Hairy Bean v1.2 ROM. Make sure to READ the options in CWM recovery as placing of some have changed.
    .
    12. Ideally this process should be followed each time you flash the HB v1.2 zip but is entirely up to you....

Se serve a qualcuno posso tradurla in italiano, anche se già così rende abbastanza l'idea della sequenza di passi da percorrere.

E' necessario disporre di una microsd da inserire nel tablet (io ho preso in prestito quella del telefono) perché a metà procedura circa, la memoria del tablet viene formattata (dunque è importante fare prima un backup di foto e dati importanti sul pc).
Sul pc devono essere installati gli Universal Naked Driver 0.7, che si prendono da un altro thread su xda.
La procedura va eseguita col tablet scollegato dalla docking station.

Messa in questi termini sembra molto complicata, ma ti assicuro che in un'oretta al massimo si fa tutto. Io ho impiegato molto più tempo a reinstallare le app dal market.
Si sconsiglia di ripristinare le applicazioni con titanium, perché molti hanno segnalato che dopo si hanno problemi (reboot improvvisi e blocchi vari).

Io sono estremamente soddisfatto della rom, mai un reboot o un problema di sorta. L'unico bug finora riscontrato è che se si lascia una scheda sd nella docking station, quando il tablet va in stanby continua a riavviarsi, pertanto dopo qualche ora lo si trova completamente scarico. Togliendo la sd il problema scompare.

He said they " are busily prepping the JB images for the Prime and Infinity units now" . He said the latest beta just entered Google's verification testing. Also said once he gets a date that's close to release, he will post it in this forum.

Hopefully it'll be sooner than later for you all. Everyone has been waiting long enough. I know JB won't solve everything but it'll likely at least breathe some new life into prime. Making it more usable and stable for those experiencing S/W issues. Plus speed things up, UI wise.

in estema sintesi hanno finito e mandato a google la rom per l'ultima verifica di compatibilità, credo, agli standard e se google da l'ok, la mandano subito in onda, altrimenti devono prima fare le correzioni richieste da google e poi via in onda, anzi in OTA!

mia considerazione: contando che sono partiti dal lavoro del tf300 che google ha approvato, dubito ci saranno eccezzioni da google, e quindi nel giro di pochi giorni la avremo!! :)

Io non mi fiderei della mail asus.....non sono ritenuti a dare date precise....speriamo che quello asus abbia ragione
