1. thermal engine is the service that manages the CPU clock frequencies based on the temperature, It has nothing to do with the theme engine :)
sure you can use themes

2. I tried now OTG with a usb key and works well (sorry but i can't try now with a mouse)
yes...update from yios may not work properly, if you can try with a full wipe (also format system)

I remember from yios to your rom(v6)，I have tried a full wipe wipe with a clean install of v6
but from v6 to v7 to v8 to v9 ，i am not do full wipe..
in yios forum，others use ur v9，otg is also work well.. maybe my OTG line is not work.. I'll test it later..

Hi and thaks for replay! I flash my Z7 Max with CM 12.1 unofficial and it takes 36 hours befor starting! After that I don`t have IMEI and baseband is empty! I can`t go in Engineering Mode to write or chang IMEI and I have no solution to save my phone! Have you one? Thanks Alex

lol 36 hours is really long, first start is not longer than 5 minutes :D

which rom you had before? you made a backup with recovery before flashing the cm12.1 ?

ok, I think you need to return back to firmware stock
flash the 3.53 from recovery with a full wipe (you can find here: needrom 3.53)
after that check if IMEI is correct, if not you can try with the last firmware 3.55 (flash from PC with nubia tools) (firmware: needrom 3.55, guide to flash: needrom guide)

when you have the correct imei you can retry with cm12.1...but before make a full backup :D

1. Clock app crashes consistently so I can't access clock to stopwatch, timer...
2. Stock rom camera sometimes (sic) crashes after unlock

Anyway, grazie mille for great great ROM and regular updates and improvements

No crashes of Clock or Camera here.
Everything is working perfektly until now.
I am using v10 from relase on.

I flashed dalvik cache, cache and system from release 1 to 8. To perform the last two upgrades, I just wiped cache and dalvik cache.

I will try a full and reinstall v10 "from scratch" then I'll let you know.

Try Format system instead of wipe!

After complete reinstall (wipe dalvik cache, cache and system) I don't have any more issue. Hope it'll last :)

[Resolved] Problem no IMEI; just runing Restore.exe from nubia-nx505j-updater-developer-edition and the IMEI was after reboot restored!!! Thanks for help! Alex

Only in the italian thread is thomething written about it, but very hard to translate.
One with 440dpi and one with 480dpi?
Can you describe the difference between both?
Any idea why the filesize is significantly smaler?

yes, is the new version of nubia camera from stock firmware 3.55...the size is half compared to the previous version, I don't know why :D
the difference from 440dpi and 480dpi is only cosmetic, in CM12.1 you can change the dpi in settings->display
if you use 440dpi the camera preview window is not centered and is aligned to the left...so I created two versions of the app, one if you use the cm12.1 with 480dpi and another one if you use 440dpi

for future versions, the cyano sources are constantly evolving, I wait a few days then I sync them and make a new version

Hi I have a problem with my Nubia z7 MAX! I have in Germany O2 contract with LTE but I can`t setup the lte it appears only H+ and the speed is also HSPDA! Can I do somthing to setup the phone to lte? Thanks! Alex

O2 LTE kannst du nicht nutzen, da O2 nur LTE 800Mhz (Band 20) nutzt, aber das unterstützt das Z7Max nicht.

You can't use O2 LTE in Germany, because O2 only uses LTE 800Mhz (Band 20), but Z7Max doesn't support Band 20.

I checked the adb logcat , and find that some of logs appear very frequency:

I konw this messages is because of the QQ app ( most of the chinese guys will install it) want get the list of current running apps. It looks something is wrong.

maybe it is useful for you. I can't make sure that this is the apps problem or the CM/AOSP code problems.

I have several apps want to get the current running task lists, so if I enabled all of them my phone will never go to deep sleep and waste a lot of battery.!!
Temperay I only enabled the app I want, and use the MyAndroidTools to disable all of evil apps.

There is one unresolved problem. When an incoming call when the phone is in your pocket and I walk down the street, the melody plays the first 2 seconds, then turns off the sound. Rather foot screen is touched through the fabric. I think it is wrong that the screen reacts to it when the phone is in your pocket.

It turns out a serious problem. If I do not hear the call during the first 2 seconds, then miss a call because of the lack of melody.

strange, I use it since this morning
maybe some incompatibility, this week the cm12.1 has moved from build id LMY48G (5.1.1_r6) to LVY48F (5.1.1_r18) then several things have been changed

Same problem here when upgrading from v11 to v12 plus new radio. Reverting....
I'm gonna check if the problem is with the radio or with V12.
Once i manager to fully boot but phone did not enter deep sleep. After rebooting, random reboots before asking pin or immediately after.

I update from v11 to v12. Everything looks fine!
Note: I update to v12 first, rebooting, then update radio 357.
