Smartpad 855i PROBLEMONI

Hello everyone!
I apologize for intruding here. I hope that You can help me.

My son forgot the password for His Mediacom SmartPad 855i loaded with factory default Android ICS.
(Not rooted, no custom roms.)
I need instructions for hard resetting the tablet to factory defaults.
Keys available: Power, Volume Up, Volume Down, (hidden) RESET.

With: Volume UP + Power button -> I get the screen with android robot lying with red triangle exclamation.
Nothing else. I can not access the recovery menu.
Tried different combinations but nothing happens.
Only android bot lying down with a red triangle.

I apologize again for intruding like this but this is the only place that I can find, related to this tablet.
