A couple notes:
-This uses your existing ramdisk!
-I just patched in my changes from the previous kernel
-I've just booted this up now, it hasn't been tested very well

For 1.40 base

A few notes:

-This uses your existing ramdisk!
-This should boot on all devices, I'll be looking for feedback from those who had bootloops previously
-sweep2sleep settings are now located at /sys/sweep2sleep/
-EX Kernel Manager app needs to be updated to work with the new sweep2sleep location
-Lowest frequency of A57 cluster is now 348MHz


I'll probably start messing with the 2.7 base now. I don't want to work on anything else until I see what HTC has changed. Note there is no kernel source again, so it'll probably be a month or so before the next version, which makes it virtually impossible to get any decent development going. I'll be sticking to Nexus devices from now on :(

Patched up the source to official 2.10

Also added some debugging info for sweep2sleep, as it may not be working on devices with the alternate touchscreen hardware. If sweep2sleep does not work, touch around each corner of the screen and send me the output of dmesg.

Also pushing this one to the app. Only install it on 2.8 or 2.10 base.

Mi dispiace per flar e per il suo fantastico kernel ma su M9 rimango stock 😊

Ma per capire.. quali benefici si possono ottenere con ex su M9? tipo undervolt etc?
E a livello kernel wakelock com'é rispetto allo stock?
E poi lo sweeptosleep come funziona, cioè dove si sweeppa?

Per ora su MM senza sorgenti htc ancora non ce una versione compatibile.

Su LL non cera undervolt come spiegava Flar i voltaggi ernao già molto bassi di default si rischiava il loop in avvio, il kernel permetteva anche di rimettere le frequenze dei primi 4 core a 1,73 ghz senza inficiare sui consumi ma il sistema era molto più reattivo ed aveva una gestione migliore dei consumi in deep-sleep.


Con MM chissà se pure con il kernel stock è l'inserimento dello swap il telefono vola anche in default con frequenze stock HTC.
Sembra sinceramente un altro telefono per non parlare dei consumi quasi ai livelli di KK.

Attendo il nuovo kernel ElementalX perchè sinceramente sono curioso di vedere come farà Flar a farlo consumare ancora meno rendendo ancora di più un sistema estremamente già di suo fluido.

(l'altro giorno dopo 51 ore, 5.30 sot, avevo 39% di batteria 😀.. Fantastico! E ricarica full in più o meno 1 ora. Questo M9 è favoloso.)

After 12 grueling hours, here's the update for Marshmallow

HTC made a lot of changes to the kernel. They actually incorporated many of the patches I used on the Lollipop version. They also changed the way the kernel is put together and added some convoluted "stability" driver that would not allow the phone to reboot to recovery when certain changes were made to the kernel. Long story short, you can't disable fsync on this version, which is no big deal. Took me a while to track that down but all seems well now.
