Parte progetto CM7

"As many of you may know (or may not), I have been looking at building a CM7 build for this device. Today, I took the first steps to determine if this would be possible (because of the locked boot loader), and it seems like I can start soon. 

I compiled a test kernel today, and I am very happy to inform you guys that it compiled successfully with minimum errors. I haven't flashed it or tried it on my device as of yet, because there are a few errors, but the good news is that CM7 is very possible on this device. :good:

The default file system is YAFFS2, and this being open source completely, is perfect! The locked boot loader won't be much of an issue, as long as I stick to the defaults supplied with the recovery.fstab in the stock ROM.

I have one final exam to write on the 25th of this month, after which I will be able to start this project on a more serious level. :good:

I will upload sources and the rest of it on GitHub and start a new thread as soon as I can get a boot able kernel. :good:

Bootlader bloccato=niente kernel

no no dice proprio che non è un gran problema il blocco al bootloader.. in effetti in rete ci sono parecchie guide che spiegano la struttura e come sbloccare il bootloader dei motorola il problema è capire queste guide e saper agire nel modo migliore :D

Speriamo bene.... il nostro è un ottimo terminale con un pessimo supporto da parte di motorola!
Dai che lo sviluppatore è molto ottimista sulla realizzazione della cyanogenmod :)

Basti pensare che un galaxy next con rom stock e'piu'fluido

esatto e il next di per sè è uno schifo... va buò di certo il mio prossimo terminale non sarà motorola ;)

A dato dei tempi lo sviluppatore?

Un utente su xda ha detto che ha sbloccato il bootloader per il nostro firext adesso il porting della cyangmod penso sia solo questione di tempo.
