Thanks! I followed BB72 advice and it works with slight modification.
- delete system\app\nubia_music with Root Explorer
- reboot
- install previous nubia music file from here
- startup music app and decline update request. I think it is better than the newer version: online music works, playing from folders works.

It's supposed to be working even if you accept the update request: it refers to an update of the working KK version, it doesn't update to the latest release shipped with Lollipop.
Remember, anyway, that you have to repeat all the steps in case you update to a new rom...
