This is what my kernel is made off:
* Initramfs with the usual stuff (root, CWM support, recovery etc)
* Partitions properly mounted in the ramdisk to take the most out from the device
* VM values tweaked up for maximum performance/battery
* Ondemand governor properly tweaked - features 10k sampling rate for more fine grained samplings
* I/O boosted - I feel this is the most important setting in the Android kernels
* CFQ I/O scheduler by default - most of the Android kernel devs choose to work with deadline or other schedulers, but after deep testing a proper tweaked CFQ for flash devices proved me as the most reliable choice
* CFS task scheduler properly tweaked for the best multi-tasking experience
* CFS Autogroup added
* TCP Veno congestion scheduler by default as its more suitable for this kind of devices
* Kernel stripped of debug shit - the only debugs that stayed were: logcat, printk and kallysms (for Voodoo Louder support)
* CRC32 library that is used by a lot of internal kernel mechanics completely patched up to the latest versions
* Compiled with Tree RCU Fast No Hz for further battery savings
* The usual Franco's magic
* SLQB memory allocator
* Lots lots more that I will remember later and add it back here...

* Completely rebase of the kernel - kernel source is back to 2.6.35.7 and it will stay like that as I don't want mainline kernel patches to fuck up code like there was no tomorrow.
* Kernel rebase also means that I was a lot more careful when choosing the code that I wanted to add which means: more performance, better battery and more stability
* Ondemand is the default governor
* Deadline is the default IO scheduler (for testing purposes)
* GPU clocks are 200min and 267max
* USB charging as fast as the wall charger
* Kernel is clean like a baby's wiped up ass
* The rest of the patches you'll be able to see on my github (tomorrow, gotta sleep now)

INSTALLAZIONE: da cwm recovery. Come al solito sempre meglio fare un paio di riavvii dopo l'installazione. Non servono wipe. Tutti gli script in init.d vanno cancellati


Dopo un giorno di utilizzo sono strasoddisfatto; sempre fluido (siamo ai livelli dello speedmod), nessun lag o ritardo al risveglio anche da deep sleep. Dopo 7 ore di deep sleep questa notte era ancora al 100%, è sceso dell'1% dopo qualche minuto di utilizzo.

Sto ancora testando la durata della batteria quindi aspetto a dare un giudizio definitivo.

Nessun bug riscontrato finora.

io l'avevo provato..ma il kernel di Angelo è migliore IMHO

Come durata batteria sono d'accordo che l'abyss vince a mani basse.... Come fluidità preferisco questo o lo speedmod

molto soddisfatto... con uso moderato sono a quasi 2 giorni con il 32% di batteria rimanente

finalmente ho trovato il kernel che mi va bene... fino ad ics rotfl

L'ho provato questo kernel e devo dire che é veramente veloce,complimenti all'autore

Questo kernel é una bomba....peró consuma troppa batteria...

qualche update su questo kernel che non sembra avere molto successo in questo forum :)

è arrivato alla versione 8 http://minooch.com/franciscofranco/G...o.Kernel-8.zip

continua ad essere il kernel + fluido e reattivo (imho) e i consumi batteria sono gli stessi degli altri kernel (quindi niente di miracoloso ma si usa tranquillamente una giornata, anche 2 o 3 con uso blando)

l'unico problema riscontrato da alcuni utenti sono i famigerati SOD (il telefono non si riaccende e serve un riavvio) e sembrerebbe sia legato a un componente hw aggiornato nelle ultime versioni del telefono non compatibile con versioni vecchie del kernel originale (2.6.35.7 e precedenti)

io non ho riscontrato questo problema ma qualcuno con telefono + recente potrebbe averlo

li ho provati tutti... la versione 6 per me resta la migliore su criskelo 7
