[ROM] MIUI globeROM

Per chi non l avesse ancora letto lo sviluppo della smiui è giunto al termine.

Hey guys,

I am very sad to announce that the sMiUI Rom Kitchen will come to an end . . .

Xiaomi has made some bad decisions in 2016 . . .
-They keep releasing their products with locked bootloaders . . .
-They keep releasing their products without full LTE support . . .
-They do not care about stability or software optimization
-They just push out new devices again and again and do not focus on the previous ones anymore
- and so on . . .

I am tired of that endless testing / optimizing and Xiaomi just blocks our work with locked bootloaders.

I will get a new device, maybe OnePlus 3 and stop all my dev projects for MIUI. Maybe I will start new things for the OnePlus3 , maybe I will just enjoy it as a user...

I will keep the site online and upload maybe 1 or 2 following Versions until my new smartphone arrives.

I am currently having conversations with different people who asked me for sources of the smiui rom.
I will let you know if I found someone that I can give all the sources.

If you are interested in starting a ROM or keep things like the center clock mod going, just send me PM. But please understand that I wont give it to everyone.

Era quasi inevitabile direi, comunque lascio lo stesso l'ultima smiui stable sul redmi note 3 mediatek che ho passato a mia sorella, tanto per lei va più che bene, poi in futuro se ci sarà qualcosa che varrà la pena di aggiornare, ho sempre la twrp e mi basterà scaricare la rom, ma tanto sto device è morto per colpa di xiaomi stessa, è inaccettabile

A quanto pare il mi-globe team proseguirà il lavoro di sebsch, adesso vediamo quanto dura.
Concordo con te, la politica xiaomi è ridicola, sicuramente nn è cosi che si conquista il mercato. Guarda anche col mi5 gia ci sono 2 nuove versioni.
Sto valutando veramente di metter la dev china e tenere il cell in inglese cosi almeno sfrutto gli aggiornamemti ota.

Io non ho messo la dev china solo perché il telefono è andato a mia sorella e deve avere tutto in italiano senza troppi sbattimenti, se l'avessi ancora io avrei messo la china/eng ed installato solo le Google Apps

Il progetto sMiUI è terminato, il tutto passa in mano ad altri developers che continueranno la cosa sotto altro nome: globeROM.
Modificati titolo e primo post.

Perfetto, vedremo la prima stable che tireranno fuori i nuovi developer come sarà, nel caso varrà la pena, aggiornerò il telefono di mia sorella, in caso contrario potrà restare con l'ultima miui stable anche fino alla fine della sua vita
