Hi, I want to resize my internal memory using post #84.
Problem is that my phone will not reboot into recovery using the vol-down+power buttons.
I always use the app Quick Boot to reboot into recovery.
Is there a fix to enable rebooting from phone-off, or should I follow another procedure?

I repartitioned my Z7 Max according post #84. All went well (no problems with BT and WiFi) but after the final "restore backup from recovery" many apps did not startup anymore ("app is not installed"). Probably this is because I moved most apps from internal to SD memory.
In the end I re-installed BB72 1.64 with three wipes, lost apps & settings. But at least the phone is not bricked :)

Hi,

Following steps i made for repartition for Z7 max and something went wrong, Pls help me to bring back my phone.

As per instruction on post #84, i have made partition but in the second step it stuck in boot image chinese (I didn't get any message 'encription failed') then i press Volume down and power button to enter into recovery.

I made data wipe, cache wipe and dalvice wipe and then i restore the Nandroid backup of BB1.64 rom which i used previously.

After that i reboot the phone and stuck in again the boot image (Phone not go inside)

Then i installed the official 1.59, Now phone is on and partition size increased, still facing problem in wifi and Bt.

I put phone in recovery and when i click wifi.bat got error message phone not found, but when i go for mount USB storage phone in detected in CWM recovery.

the Post of #119 link is broken, so i am unable to download.

Please help me to restore wifi and BT and other help need sometime phone is off automatically every 10 mins once.

Link on post 119 works....here you can find the file
You should boot into recovery (CWM not TWRP), unzip file, be sure that PC recognize the phone and run RestoreWiFi.bat

This is strange....if you enter recovery (CWM 6.0.5.0) and connect phone to PC, do you see device into Windows control panel devices?
Anyway just wait until francj67 share the WiFi and BT patch you can simply flash via recovery....unfortunately I don't have it....

ero fermo alla 1.48 di BB72, ho seguito la procedura al post #143 fino a quando, lanciato il resize,
boot in recovery con errori evidenti di lettura dello storage SDCARD0
- factory reset + clear cache + dalvik
- mounts & storage -> format SDCARD0
- mounts & storage -> mount usb storage -> connesso cavo al pc (dal pc vedo che è da 20 gb quindi il resize dovrebbe essere andato a buon fine)
- copiato dal pc il backup di SDCARD0 precedentemente effettuato
- unmount usb storage
- restore Nandroid backup da SDCARD1
- reboot
dopo l'immagine di boot lo schermo si spegne e non va oltre..ripetuta l'intera procedura due volte ma nulla...
Mi chiedevo se a questo punto posso, visto che comunque posso entrare in recovery, posso provare a installare la TWRP e poi la rom 1.64 secondo la procedura descritta nel post di BB72...oppure devo seguire la procedura per il soft brick?

Potresti provare con la 1.64 ma secondo me meglio prima installare la rom della guida softbrick tramite fastboot

Ho voluto provare direttamente la 1.64 visto che comunque sia recovery che bootloader funzionano...al termine dell'installazione ho avuto solo un errore sui permission comunque sembra andata a buon fine. Dopo il reboot però è da 15 minuti che sono fermo alla scritta iniziale nubia (prima scritta del boot)...comincio a temere che sia passato troppo tempo :(..
Provato con la procedura per risolvere il soft brick...ma rimango fermo sempre allo stesso punto del boot...durante l'installazione della 1.29 attraverso il file batch ho visto il messaggio "partition table doesn't exist".

You no need to do from the begining, The same this happened for me when i did the partition. After restore the Nandroid back up phone gets stuck at boot image.

Following are the steps which i did without PC and partition size still at 6GB

-Go to CWM and wipe factory reset + clear cache + dalvik

-install official 1.59 package with SD card brush at the end it will ask disable recovery flash, Make sure you ignore this.

- Wait the phone to on, your wifi and bluetooth will not work

- Come again to recovery flash this file for Wifi and BT by CWM https://mega.co.nz/#!8gVlhAzB!mDrHX2...JDtPQ4721BUO78

- Reboot the phone, once everything working fine

- Install TWRP recovery and flash BB72 1.64
