[ROM][JB][4.1.2] BroodROM JB

broodplank1337 ha compilato una nuova ROM basata su Android v4.1.2 AOSP e CM10, che dai feedback su XDA sembra molto promettente ed è per questo che voglio condividerla con gli amici di Androidiani.

Sai se la recovery postata da Brood è basata su kernel 2.6.x, così da scongiurare brick causati dall'emmc bug? Grazie

Io ho flashato la ROM senza problemi, ma, nel dubbio da te instillato, ho girato la domanda direttamente a Brood da cui attendo risposta!

Gli ho scritto anche io via PM ma non ho ancora ricevuto risposta. Potresti controllare se il tuo telefono contiene la scheda fallata? Così da essere sicuro!

P.S. A quanto pare su XDA ci snobbano!

Che modello di scheda hai quindi?

Su uno dei due S Plus ho utilizzato la CMW 6.0.1.0, mentre sull'altro la recovery proposta da Brood ed in entrambi casi nessun problema!

Questa è la risposta di Brood: Well it was just build with that kernel, not necessarily to avoid the emmc brick bug, but it's safe to use.
I use CWM 6.0.2.8 broodRecovery atm. and it works just fine.

Sembra che vi siano alcuni problemi con la versione NonOC/UV del Kernel, per cui, per il momento è meglio non utilizzarla!
Brood sta provvedendo!

Ecco cosa troveremo nella prossima release:

- Ability to switch between gps.conf (patched, and adjusted for your localization) and normal gps.conf (rom default) in the Localization menu
- STK hidden in launcher and but integrated in advanced wireless & network settings
- New kernel(s)
- broodRecovery stable (also compatible with the brickable emmc chips)

TODO: More themes (probably S4/Xperia Z as extra themes)
TODO: Add quick reboot to extended power menu
TODO: Add 4.2.2 style SystemUI

Probably more, but this is all i remember right now :P
