salve a tutti, navigando in rete ho trovato questo per il nostro ELF 2 (purtroppo in inglese)..io personalmente non ci capisco molto voi cosa ne pensate? vale la pena provare o meglio aspettare??

1. Ainol Novo 7 Elf II original simplified 05/31 firmware download: E2_0531.rar
Firmware solves over-heat and decreases power waste will be released next week. Please back up your important files before upgrading.
Update Steps:
1) Download the file and decompress it to TF card root directory. The decompressed files should under TF card root directory and the TF card must be fat32 format.
2) Insert the TF card into the device and keep the tablet off with more than 30% battery. Charging is not recommended during updating process.
3) Hold-Press the -Volume and power button for four seconds at the same time. Release the buttons when upper left screen corner shows green instruction.
4) Use volume and power botton to choose orders wipe date, wipe cache, wipe media.
5)Choose update and then choose the main firmware package in TF card.
6)You may stop here if you want the simplified firmware only, try wipe data and wipe cache once again if you want to reboot.



2.Ainol Novo 7 Elf II simplified firmware 0604 TF card update version: E1(0604).zip
1) This firmware is compatible with pre-stalled 0527, 0528, 0529, 0530V2, 0601, 0601V2 firmware devices.
2) Fixed: minimum brightness decreased; constant crash bug fixed; electric quantity and voltage match (0527-0601 firmware users report that the tablet shuts down automatically though there is 30% battery left.)
3) Update steps are the same as 05/31 version.

8)Sometimes internal memory doesn't work if you pull the date line directly without shutting down bulk-storage memory. We tested over 20 times and internal memory worked good under Windows 7 system.

1).Copy the file and paste it to TF card, then insert the TF card to Ainol Novo 7 Elf II.


2).Keep Ainol Novo 7 Elf II off and don't connect power adaptor and cable. Press -volume and power buttons at the same time till the tablet is started.


3).Enter recovery update mode.


4).Use volume button to choose "apply update from sdcard" first and then choose "elf2_root.zip", confirm your chosen with power button.


5).Choose "reboot system now" and restart Ainol Novo 7 Elf II.

il 15 giugno è uscito l'aggiornamento ufficiale per l'ainol elf 2; sono stati risolti diversi problemi; posto il link per il download, se qualcuno lo prova mi faccia sapere come va....

Ciao! Una curiosità, come vanno installati questi aggiornamenti? Dal recovery come un normale update.zip?
Chiedo scusa per la domanda se per alcuni può sembrare scontata, ma sono nuovo del campo

si penso di si...la procedura non è ben specificata tuttavia suppongo che vada fatto come ogni update: metti su scheda sd, spegni il tablet, entri in recovery (tieni premuto accensione+volume) e poi installi zip da sd card; non so se vanno fatti i wipe comunque per sicurezza meglio farli...se aggiorni fammi sapere come va...

grazie..comunque ti sto già seguendo sia sul forum che su facebook xk sui siti internazionali è tutto in inglese e non capisco mai quando una cosa è originale e quando è scritta da uno sviluppatore...e poi ancora non ho capito se gli aggiornamenti che rilasciano su questi siti sono per tutti gli utenti o solo per inglesi tedeschi etc..

Senz'altro le custom con il root sono consigliabili, anche se e' un continuo aggiornare, su questo tablet. Che bello, una community intera ( in cina) su questo tablet. Ce ne fosse una sul mio.. (Forse on c'e' molto da dire, va' gia' bene cosi? )

Gradirei ricordare a chi sta riscontrando gravi problemi al wifi, che e' un difetto di fabbrica, e dovete farvi sostituire il tablet

è uscita la versione 26/06: Novo7 Elf II 0626.rar (dovrebbe risolvere gli ultimi bug)
ho letto in giro che tra un mese si dovrebbe avere l'aggiornamento a 4.1, secondo voi è vero?
P.S.: gli aggiornamenti e il root sono rischiosi da fare? qualcuno li ha provati?

Il root e le rom moddate non sono rischiose, se fatte con la giusta procedura, e se le rom son sviluppate bene..
