ciao a tutti sono un possessore di un arnova 7cg2 3g
Vorrei utilizzare il market android ufficiale e flash player e l'unico modo è usare una custom rom
volevo sapere i firmware da utilizzare sono quellinella discussione:
[ROM] [ARNOVA 7CG2] Custom Rom by Simongabry Tre versioni disponibili ???
Su un sito estero (arctablet.com) ho trovato altri firmware
Ci sono delle differenze con questi di noi italiani ? Sono meglio o peggio?

Per fare il backup del dispositivo in caso che qualcosa va storto cosa devo fare?

The first to make a custom firmware, was sethialpha`s from arctablet.
Second is DanielVd
Third SimoneGabry
And the fourth is me.


Each version has something new.
Sethialpha has 2 versions
1 - a rom version that has market and is only for nonsd users (all the data will be on the arnova)also the new 3d drivers provided by me are in the both versions.
2 - second version that has market but the data is transfered to the sd card (you need at least a 6 class speed to use this version)

DanielVd - One version, he has market and that`s all he stoped making new roms, he now currently tries to port the CM7 with me for the arnova

My roms are in 2 versions
V1 - has the Xperia Launcher from SonyErricson Arc, Flash Player, Market, and the other stuff that other use (i have also a tweek that other roms don`t have , new 3d drivers, a new filemanager
V2 - Has a moded Launcher that looks like Htc Sense/ No flash Player (can be downloaded, i can provide the app) FIleExpert as file manager, new 3d drivers, And Instant Market Sync ( more apps are available on my rom , and the apps are available instant for download)

V3- the Upcoming version will solve some bugs related with busybox ( i dont know why but it does not work properly in V2, flash player


If you want i can cook you a personalized rom , tell me just you want in it (only free aps, and the limit is 80Mb for the flashable zip)
All my roms are flashable via CWM recovery.


I advise you to try all the roms, and chose the one that suits you best.

ok what is the procedure to backup original firmware in case of failure of custom rom?

you don`t need to have a back-up
we have the zip for the stock rom, the problem is, that i dont know for sure if we still have the original recovery. ( i know that a guy from arctablet had the original recovery)
on all the roms you need first to install a custom recovery (CWM) via fastboot
in particular, in sethialpa`s roms, are flashed via fastboot, daniel the same from what i remember, i don`t know how are flashed the rom`s of simon.


The custom rom`s dont fail if you install them properly
