Io con il wifi fix ho risolto, vado veloce con qualsiasi modem. Altri problemi non ne ho avuti... Consiglio comunque questo terminale perché veramente è ottimo.

Vi copio-incollo un post che potrebbe chiarire il problema, anche se le considerazioni fatte valgono per la versione 4.3

I think there's a misunderstanding regarding this delayed notification issue.
I can say for certain that this issue has been fixed in JB 4.3, at least in opensource JSS build.
First few words regarding this issue,

1. If you were on 4.3 and you did not receive any notification (e.g WhatsApp message) when your screen was off or Your device was not getting pinged regardless of whether wife optimisation was ON/Off then you are facing wifi issues.

2. If you are on 4.3 and wifi optimisation is switched On, if you are receiving notification with 10-15 mins delay when screen is off - then it's just wifi optimisation doing it's job, if you need faster notification then just keep the wifi optimisation Off.
Note: in the above scenario you should be able to ping your device regardless of wifi optimisation status.

3. If your screen is On and you don't receive any notification, then you are facing some other issue. Contact Google.

Few things which should help -

1. Sign off all your Gmail accounts from hangout, restart mobile and login into hangout again.

2. Use WhatsApp to test notifications, give 10-15 mins grace time when wifi optimisation is On. When it's off you should receive notification immediately.

3. If you want faster notification even when wifi optimisation is On, then you probably need to set lesser delay using push notification fixer app. (requires root).

4. Use an ROM based on AOSP like paranoid Android, I know for certain that this issue has been fixed in AOSP builds. (The reason could be the one I mentioned I'm my previous post in this thread, search using my name).

Note : The above statements could be partially true for 3G also, just in 3G delay is set purposefully larger, though it might not be related to wifi optimisation.

È accettabile una velocità di collegamento di 12 Mbps del nexus 4, quando il note 2, posizionato affianco, ne ha una di 54 Mbps?
Ho letto un po la guida di wifi fix, ma al momento non ho i permessi di root e mi spaventa un po l'idea di prenderli perché temo di combinare disastri.
Che ne pensate?
Ho un modem Huawei HG530 con Infostrada.

io ho il nexus 4 da ieri e ho un problema al Wi-fi un pò diverso...a me prioprio non si collega ai router. Le uniche prove che ho potuto fare sono con un router fastweb (nn so che modello) e in ufficio con non so cosa.

Addirittura quando provavo a connettermi a quello fastweb mi si riavviava il modem!!!!!! che cavolo è??? visto che sono ancora nei 10 giorni di tempo vorrei che cavolo succede se no lo rispedisco al mittente e mi faccio ridare i soldi o cambiare con un altro sperando di essere poi fortunato come quelli a cui va tutto!!!

Collegandolo invece in tethering al mio nexus s e al tablet funziona bene.

E' possibile??

nessuno ha una soluzione possibile che non sia mettere le mani a rom rim kernell ecc che non so nemmeno cosa siano??

Adesso che ho sgoogolato la cosa ho visto che il problema è diffusissimo ma sembra che non esista una soluzione precisa. Ho anche chiamato il venditore che dovrebbe essere disposto a cambiarmelo ma probabilmente mi ritroverei con lo stesso problema. Se accettasse il reso forse potrei pensare di cambiare modello ma mi spiacerebbe!! possibile che si perdano su cose del genere???

Qualche piccolo aggiornamento, usando il WPS ora mi si connette al router fastweb ed è stabile. Ho prvato ieri sera con un netgear e si è connesso subito. Ho provato anche a fare un test del wi fi ed è tutto a posto. Ora devo cercare di risolvere il problema in ufficio visto che lo collego sempre. diciamo che avrei preferito se si collegasse a tutto senza problemi come il vecchietto nexus s però vabè è già un passo avanti.

Non funziona perfettamente come se il segnale fosse altalenante, rev 11, Operatore fastweb, modem ARGO 55+
con gli altri dispositivi la rete va una bomba, il mio N4 va una bomba solo con rete mobile.
