My phone frequently reboots just after having selected a sim to make a call using french provider's network.

Lately, I have reinstalled your last ROM (v2) after a full (system, cache, dalvik cache) wipe but this didn't help. Can you or anyone give me some advice to make my phone work normally?

Hi Paolo,

I have a bug report that I noticed on V3 and V4, and have now figured out what causes it: when I dial a phone number from the dialer, all system sounds (notifications, locking/unlocking, ringtone etc.) become very quiet.

I believe that it's normal for the Android system to decrease the volume of system sounds during phone calls, but it doesn't seem to reset the sound level back to the regular one after the phone call is done. I can't find any change in system volume settings before and after this occurs.

The sound volume goes back to normal after performing a soft reboot after the phone call, so it's probably a problem somewhere in userspace and not the kernel.

I'm going to try and reinstall V2 and see if that happens there too, since CyanogenMod seems to have changed the dialer/contacts and SMS apps between V2 and V3.

EDIT: bug is not present on V2.

EDIT #2: bug is present in V2 but in different form, it's not enough just to call a number and then hang up, you have to actually have a conversation. Soft reboot still fixes it.

EDIT #3: I'm going to do a fresh reinstall and see what happens since this has gotten weird. Does anyone else have this problem?

EDIT #4: After spending yesterday testing stuff, turns out it's caused by some weird combination of apps on my part. Sorry for the false alarm :)

Hello, I would like to DIY others ROM. I extracted system.new.dat & system.transfer.list. from the ROM. Then I used the tool from XDA forum named "Unpack Repack System.new.dat" make system.new.dat & system.transfer.list to unpack, and then removed some promotional softwares I do not need , has been re-packaged a new system.new.dat & system .transfer.list file, and then put the new files into the original ROM. But it's failed to flashing, I guess because the file named system.patch.dat. Can you teach me how to get new system.patch.dat it ^_^?...

CM13 final version just released!!
Hope it will solve music Bluetooth bug! :-)

The first time I installed V5 after V4. Then I did a full wipe. On the Russian forum 4pda there are still people who complain about this problem.

After I flash v4, do I still need to flash GApps, BaseBand, CM_Enable/Disable Cover, NubiaCamera etc.?

none is included :)
the baseband you need to flash only once (is independent of the used rom)
you need to flash the cover zip (if you want to enable it) every time you upgrade the rom and gapps and nubiacamera only the first time

I found that your rom doesn't support Android's official function of encrypting device.
I have done a little research, and guess this is a problem of CM13, and not exist in CM12 before, when used with TWRP 3.0.
Could you help fix this problem or suggest a solution??

I have made a research on above problem. We can solve partial problem by running below commands in TWRP, and then turn off all WiFi, Data, Kill Background Apps.
The Encryption can then be started, .... but not really run.

cat proc/partitions (to get data device. For Z7Max, it is /dev/block/mmcblk0p23)
umount /data
umount /sdcard
tune2fs -l /dev/block/mmcblk0p23 (to get Block Count. For Z7Max, it is 6896635)
e2fsck -f -p /dev/block/mmcblk0p23 (otherwise next Command would not work)
resize2fs -f /dev/block/mmcblk0p23 6896595 (New Block Count = Old Block Count - 8, i.e.6896635-8-32, since my Z7Max has 32GB internal storage)
e2fsck -f -p /dev/block/mmcblk0p23 (found a minor Error in filesystem which was corrected by this command)

I have fully tested v4. Only find 2 majors bugs. One is reported above.
Another is the wrong System Default of Language: English (Australia), due to hard coded.
Although user can sometimes work around this problem, by manually selecting another language.
However, some other hard-coded apps will read and use this Default setting, and give no choice for custom setting.
Two hard-coded programs together cause a problem.

I made several patches to the kernel and I also had to fix the FM radio because in these days in CM13 they replaced the app with the qualcomm version

when I make a call it disconnects after around 10 seconds and sometimes it disconnects after 30 seconds. I'm using V7 any idea what might cause this?

The same issues happen on my phone. It frequently reboots as I try to make a call on both SIMS
