I'm excited to announce the Viber 2.1.3 is finally available for download on Market.
First and foremost, this new version is compatible with ICS (Android 4) - so the long anticipation is finally over :)

In addition, the new version contains bug fixes and small new features for your convenience.

Please try it out and let us know if you encounter any special problems.

Good news. :D
Thanks Viber. Have you also fixed the problem with duplicated IMEI or we still continue to modify manually the tablet one (with custom ROMs)?

The IMEI problem wasn't unique to Tablets - it was a problem with the Custom ROMs overriding the original IMEI, thus causing deactivation.

Overall, we have whitelisted the problematic IMEIs, so if someone suffered the automatic deactivation problem - that should be solved now. Please try it out and let me know if it is indeed resolved :)

We are excited to announce that the long anticipated Viber 2.2 has just been released, and available for download!

Come alcuni di voi avranno già notato, abbiamo rilasciato una nuova versione di Viber - 2.3.0!

Cosa c'è di nuovo?
- Usa le tue suonerie da Android come suonerie Viber!
- Includere fresco emoticon nel messaggio di testo Viber.
- Risposta al cellulare (normale) SMS con Viber.
- Adesivi Condividi con i tuoi contatti Viber.
- Aggiungere un percorso personalizzato per i vostri testi Viber.
- Molti altri enchancements e miglioramenti.

Quindi, assicuratevi di scaricare l'ultima versione! :)

Ciao Viber, ho installato la versione 2.3.0 ed ho un problema: se vado su "contatti" e premo su "sincronizza contatti" mi esce sempre ( da giorni) il seguente messaggio: "il servizio Viber non è momentaneamente disponibile o è stato bloccato.... Riprovare + tardi".
Sono collegato in wifi ma senza questa opzione non riesco a visuaòizzare quali tra i miei contatti usano Viber.
Ti ringrazio ed approfitto per augurare a tutti Buon Anno

PS dimenticavo il mio smart è un samsung II con ultimo SO

The source of this issue could greatly vary. Please read this short page in our HelpDesk, outlining some possible workarounds that will help reboot synchronization of the contact list: iPhone: Contact list is not showing your friends as Viber users?

(The instructions refer to iPhone, but are relevant to all phones nevertheless).

i have a question: can i register viber with a number that is different with the number of the sim inside the phone? the number is a real number, but i use it in another phone.

Hi,

Yes, you can. You need to register with *some* number, and then we send our code to that number (either by SMS or automated call). If you use that code and use it to complete the registration on your phone, then that will be your Viber number (regardless of the SIM card).

Yes, you can. You need to register with *some* number, and then we send our code to that number (either by SMS or automated call). If you use that code and use it to complete the registration on your phone, then that will be your Viber number (regardless of the SIM card).
