Salve ragazzi ho come secondo telefono un nexus 4 sul quale con multirom avevo installato la fake nexus e sailfish os in dual boot... Non avendolo toccato per un po di tempo,accendendolo non si avviava piu nessuno dei due sistemi operativi... Ho seguito varie guide per riportarlo stock o per flasharci nuovamente solo la fake nexus ma rimane comunque la multirom e i due sistemi operativi e non se ne avvia comunque nessuno... Ho provato anche a flashare l'ultima immagine 5.1.1 stock ma nulla... Rimane sempre uguale... Non so piu che fare... Chi puo darmi una mano?!:S

Quasi certamente hai una emmc fritta : tutti i i sintomi portano a questa conclusione

Ad ogni modo spostiamoci su altro 3D più adeguato allo scopo

scusa non mi sembrava di essere tanto ot.. Alla fine non riuscivo a flashare la fake nexus!:D in ogni caso ho risolto da solo grazie comunque:)

Sembrava non riuscissi a flashare nulla ... e per questo pensavo avessi la emmc fritta ... ma meglio così :)

Non riesco a mettere xposed. Faccio il flash dello zip "xposed-v86-sdk23-arm.zip" ma all' avvio ho messaggi di errore e non parte la ui. Il sistema viene caricato ma rimane lo schermo nero con i solo i pop up degli errori.

Non lo sto usando ma se ricordo bene alcuni post prima c' era stato qualche tentativo .... dai un occhio

Io ho installato xposed v85 e con l'ultima versione della fake funziona tutto perfettamente.

Ho dimenticato di dire che monto l'ultima stabile di gennaio, lo dovrebbe usare mio padre e preferisco evitare il ramo testing. Proverò con qualche versione di xposed meno recente

Ho messo la stabile anche per via della cataclysm. Se metto l'ultima fake, poi funziona?

Si funziona, ma va in contrasto con xposed. Ecco forse è stato questo il tuo problema. Se hai flashato la Cataclysm non puoi flashare anche xposed. È successo anche a me la stessa cosa. Rifai tutto da capo e decidi quale flashare

Ho ripristinato il nandroid, ora valuto quale framework usare. Xposed mi serviva solo per greenify, perché usa le app più esose di batteria: pinterest, whatsapp, facebook e messenger. Grazie per il supporto.

Buone notizie !
Il dev che ha sviluppato il porting della NOUGAT 7.0 sul N4 (zaclimon) da cui il dev che sviluppa la FAKE (ganachoco) ha tratto spunto per la sua ultima release della FAKE, ha emesso ieri una nuova release andando a migliorare e risolvere alcune delle issue

Il dev ganachoco non ha ancora di conseguenza emesso uan release della sua FAKE ma ... state tuned ! ;)
LO farà certamente a breve ed io aggiornerò di conseguenza l'OP

Anche mia moglie e per lo stesso motivo non ho deciso sino ad ora l'aggiornamento a NOUGAT ma la scimmia si sa ... sta sempre li :)

About sensors, as some of you may know, it looks like the use of Clang broke the use of our sensors, however we can force the part responsible of it to be compiled with GCC. The patch for you builders can be found here:

About camera, I don't know what's happening since I have 2 possible theories. I can see that the OMX encoder has some issues. That said, it could be possible that our HAL needs to be modified for Nougat support as seen here:

If we use API1 HAL1, that's where it could get a bit tricky and can go harder than what I can possibly do. Flo doesn't have the same issue since it uses Camera2.

@ganachoco What's your insight regarding this? I know you had some issues with getting Google Camera because of Camera2.

Anyways enough talking. The build is available in the OP and I hope you'll be happy enough for the moment. Time for a little break now.

Hi guys! Another day, another update for the Nexus 4. I don't know if it'll be enough but anyway here it is:

V4 (02/09/16):

- Fixed H/W video decoding for the most part (can see YouTube 60 FPS videos/Was able to play some local video files using it as well)
- Kernel: SDCard FS enabled (I leave the discretion to the custom roms whether to really enable it or not)
- Attempt to fix permissions for GApps
- Enabled Navigation Bar tweaks and Night mode in SystemUI Tuner.

If YouTube is somewhat posing a problem with 60 fps playback, I compiled a test version of Quanta V19 which is compatible with Nougat. Please note that I won't be offering any support for this version as it is mostly experimental stuff.

It has been a somewhat challenging two weeks trying to get everything working, I definitely won't have a lot of time to be on this project anymore starting next Tuesday. School is beginning for me and I want to focus on some other projects (Quanta stuff mostly) Though, It's nice to see that there are still a lot of people interrested in flashing new updates and that's what is somewhat the heart of XDA. I wanted to get mostly everything working and I believe that it has been mostly accomplished. (minus some minor stuff like the flashlight and notification light) I'll leave out all the source required to build for the N4 + some patches I used. (GApps/Navigation bar + night mode)

At the same time I take the time to remind to some people here that might have some hope of features coming to this rom. Sorry to say it to you bluntly but I'll crush these dreams right away. This rom is meant as a way (even more as a proof of concept more than anything else really for this device) to get Android 7.0 running. As such it will act as a base for the custom roms that will have all your favorite feature.

It might prevent to crash mediadrm and media service. But I cannot be sure it can play drm contents.

Questo ultimo update è basato su una 2° factory emessa da Google (ovvio non per il nostro N4)
