Non dovrebbero esserci limitazioni di quel tipo, piuttosto assicurati che in system ci sia sufficiente spazio soprattutto se usi le gapps full.
SeLinux per me è qualcosa di ancora astratto purtroppo, non c'ho capito una mazza :asd: Se può esserti utile, ho notato che alcuni kernel come code blue cambiano le relative impostazioni, quest'ultimo ad esempio imposta SELinux su Applicazione.

Bella sorpresa! Proverò con un altro kernel, aspetto la nuova build e riprovo.

Installation and kernels - IMPORTANT:

If you come from another rom do a factory reset and wipe system/caches. If you come from my previous 5.1.x builds, wipe system/caches (it's important this time).
After flashing the rom zip in twrp, flash Semaphore 3.1.5 for mako and Code Blue r949-5.1 (these are kernels i've tested, but an alternative one of your choice will be probably fine too), flash slim gapps, then reboot and enjoy.


Tips about some features:

Ciao, seguendo il tuo consiglio ora tutto funziona. Non sono del tutto certo sia il kernel il problema, penso sia andato "storto" il dirty flash della ROM. Appena posso rifaccio la procedura con elementalx. Inserire il format del /system nell'installer della ROM potrebbe aiutare ad ovviare questa tipologia di problemi?

È un mezzo e mezzo, non cancellando il /data non fai un full wipe, al massimo reinstalli un paio di helper e qualche script in init.d...

Il wipe di System resterà una prerogativa dell'utente ;)

Ciao Ezio. Volevo chiederti se questa rom è paragonabile alla tua ultima build Kitkat in termini di stabilità, batteria e wakelock. Ho provato diverse rom lollipop ma nessuna mi ha veramente soddisfatto.
Altra cosa: ultimamente mi va sempre in crash il play services (kitkat), sapresti dirmi come potrei risolvere?

Vedo che non sono solo allora. E neanche i soli credo che sono restati a kitkat. Io sono rimasto col code blue 398 e va da dio.

No, mai problemi, se non sbaglio installai una delle ultime gapps stabili mini, da allora sempre ok, ora questa versione aggiornata e mai crash:

L'ultima Slimkat mod, in quanto a funzioni e robustezza del codice, è qualcosa di inarrivabile (e credo lo resterà almeno fino ad Android M) ;)
Però vi suggerisco di provare l'ultima build L di cui sopra, perchè è oggettivamente ad ottimi livelli (che neanche speravo a dire il vero).

Per la slimkat mod usavo sabermod come toolchain, e le ultime versioni di playservice vanno in crash a causa di una libreria che in caso di toolchain diversi dallo stock va aggiornata (libcore) quando si usa la localizzazione.
Quindi non usate l'ultimo playservice.
PS: volendo posso aggiungere il commit necessario sulla versione kk4.4 di libcore, ma sta a qualcuno di voi compilare la rom perchè ho eliminato i sorgenti dal disco fisso (non ho neanche lo spazio sufficiente). Sorgenti che ovviamente sono ancora tutti sul ramo kk4.4 del mio github.

Si mi sembrava anche a me, ma ho flashato la tua ultima build KK in multirom ma non le trovo...
Non è che ti ricordi quale build le aveva vero? Chiedo troppo.... :)
Mi trovavo benissimo con quella, lollipop non riesco a digerirlo proprio per la gestione delle notifiche e varie cose con cui mi trovo assolutamente meglio su KK.

Ho reinstallato da capo la rom con un full wipe. Qualche volta esce ancora il crash del play services ma non frequentemente come prima. Aspetto un altro po per capire se il problema sia stato risolto o meno. Tuttavia non riesco ad abilitare le funzioni sperimentali di greenify. Mi rimanda sempre al play store dicendomi di scaricare il pacchetto donate che pero è già installato.

Ha cominciato di nuovo a crashare come prima. Risolvo solo se pulisco la cache del play service stesso ma il problema si ripresenta poi ad ogni riavvio o anche dopo riattivato dalla modalità aereo. Posso risolvere in qualche altro modo o sono costretto a cambiare rom? Grazie

Intanto oggi inizio a scaricare il codice di kitkat, a volte bastano tre ore a volte ci vuole una giornata... poi cerco l'originale di quel commit: l'ho già visto da qualche parte ma non ricordo dove. Possiamo fare una prova, è possibile che con quella fix risolvi. Se non risolvi con quella allora per forza ti conviene aggiornare a Lollipop con la consapevolezza che la versione Slim per Nexus 5 stà diventando una vera bomba a cominciare dal kernel che è migliore sia di ElementalX che di CodeBlue grazie agli ultimi (111!) commits. :)

Fatto anche il factory reset, vero?
In tal caso bisogna provare quel Fix per libcore, altro non mi viene in mente :(

NP, ne approfitto per aggiornare anche la mia build KK all'ultima versione. ;)

Leggevo ora nella 3d di OptiPop che alcuni hanno ovviato al problema mettendo la geolocalizzazione su "solo dispositivo". Comunque sia siamo a metà del guado: sync effettuato. :)

@ezio ti segnalo che il local_manifest riporta master invece di kk4.4 per la repo "scripts" che così dà errore. A parte questo tutto liscio come l'olio. ;)
