Notes:I have the Virgin Mobile model. It should work on other variants as well.
This is BETA and CM12 is not completely finished. This is based off of Cyan12. I will NOT be taking any bug reports. If you have a bug you would like to report, it should probably go in the CM12 section. I'm open to feedback and such but if this thread gets spammed with bug submissions, complaining, etc, I will close the thread,remove all links and I will not continue to update the ROM on a weekly basis.

I will be updating the ROM every Saturday and/or every other Saturday,whenever I have time and adding the new link into the original post.

1. Download and install custom recovery(links are in these forums for desire 816) Here's one that works recovery
2. Download Latest Release from link below or here - ROM
3. Download Latest GApps AND SuperSU
4. Boot into recovery
5. Perform a full wipe like usual. Wipe data, cache, system if coming from other rom
6. Flash Rom
7. Flash Gapps
8. Flash SuperSU if you want it rooted.
8. Reboot
