[ROM] MetroEvo3d

ciao a tutti, mi sono appena iscritto e presentato. ho usato la funzione search ma non ho trovato quello che cercavo e ho deciso di aprire un nuovo thread, se ho scazzato qualcosa chiudete pure. tempo fa avevo letto di una rom su XDA con windows phone per il nostro terminale chiamata MetroEvo3d e mi ero abbastanza interessato, ma visto che era ancora in funzione beta non mi ero arrischiato a provarla. qualcuno l'ha provata?(non ho nemmeno capito se è per moduli CDMA o anche GSM)

Here's the Goods (Taste the simplicity)
-Based on CyanogenMod 7.4 by KMeyers

-DigitalHigh's Modified Tiamat Kernel with multitouch support

-As Bloat-free as I could get it! (Only uses 38 MB app space, leaving you with 1.1 GB of app space)

-MetroUI (Launcher7)

-Windows Phone 7 Theme (By JudasLucifer)

-WP7 Music Player (InstaMusic)

-WP7 Lockscreen (WP7Lock Lite)

-Gapps Preinstalled (Removed setupwizard.apk, was causing issues on first boot, just set up your account via the settings menu or opening the market)

-CyanogenMod Settings still available (will change name to WP7 Settings later)

-New, simpler, smaller file manager (Fo File Manager)

-WP7 Mail (WP7 Mail)

-WP7 Notifications (WP7 Notifications)

-WP7 Boot animation (by abhi0n0nakul)

-Custom SOSA Wallpapers APK (Thanks Thoughtlesskyle for teaching me how to do this) all set to 540x960 qHD resolution to fit the phone screen perfectly!
-->To set wallpaper, at the launcher 7 Homescreen with your tiles, tap the menu button, hit "Launcher7 Settings", then (so the wallpaper shows up, rather than a black or white BG) hit "Background Wallpaper" and choose "System Wallpaper". Then lastly, hit "change wallpaper" and choose the means in which your app that you will get the wallpaper from (check out mine too btw!)

As you can see, its not super loaded. My goal in this case was to make a Rom that was battery efficient and as small as possible (100+ extra MB in app space is a lot better than most people think). This was just a personal modified Rom for personal use, but I figured what the hell, someone might be looking for this, so here you go , if you use it, GREAT, if you dont, thanks for giving this your time

Prerequisites:

-On First boot, DO NOT RUN THE LAUNCHER 7 Setup wizard, press the "back" key on your phone, or press "create tiles" on the app and say yes to skipping, and add the tiles yourself! This is a bug I'll iron out later
--->If you alread set the tiles and your app force closes, you will have to open the settings and wipe Launcher7's data

-If the Lock screen force closes, ignore it, I'll iron that out later too

Plans for second/third release:

-WP7 Contacts
-WP7 Phone with Facebook Integration
-Xbox Live App
-Minimalistic Gallery (Will probably use Gallery ICS, photo safari force closes when trying to open pictures in from texts/emails)
-Voice Control App (nice little twist, and a cool feature)
-Video Player of some sort (Zplayer costs money, so this is sort of a road block to find a wp7 video player, probably gonna have to theme the original one)
-More Google apps that are similar to WinPho7 experience (Google Drive=Live Skydrive, etc.)
-Very themed out UI on more personal apps like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
-WP7 style app switcher (BIG PROJECT!! Working on it now, running into systemUI compilation issues)
-Beats Audio
-Bravia Engine (if possible)

Comunque, non penso sia per il gsm dato che non l'ho mai vista, ma puoi benissimo controllare tu su xda leggendo se è sotto gsm development o cdma.
Detto questo, non saprei, mai vista e sentita, per questo suppongo sia per cdma :)

che cretino hai ragione c'è scritto cdma development :cool: comunque sai niente tu di altre eventuali rom con wp7 per l'evo?

Ah, per curiosità, perchè uno smartphone android se poi vuoi wp?

mi piace semplicemente l'interfaccia grafica pulita elegante e minimale, ho provato il launcher che c'è sul market ma mi laggava in una maniera insopportabile quindi volevo provare una rom con wp giusto per curiosità. sia chiaro, non lo preferisco minimamente ad android se non da un punto di vista grafico, tutto qui.

Comunque, non ce ne stanno, potresti cercare dei temi ma non penso ci siano :)
