Philz Recovery 6.25.x is Recommended! Don't use 6.41.x+!
* Make a nandroid backup
* Make sure your device is ♦BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED♦ S-On is fine
* Download ROM and put it on external sdcard
* Put device in bootloader mode
- - (Power+Volume Down if device off. If on, Power+Volume Up and soon as screen goes black switch from Volume Up to Volume Down)
* Enter Recovery and do 'Clean To Install A New Rom'(wipe system/data/cache/dalvik)
* Find in Recovery "Choose zip from sdcard" choose Rom zip file
* Proceed steps that Aroma installer gives
* Reboot device after finishing installation
* Select "No" to install recovery prompt if given
* Follow setup wizard and enjoy!

Quindi raga da come ho capito non bisogna convertire il dispositivo in google play edition, ora monto la sense skydragon, basta scaricare la ROM e flasharla direttamente tramite custom recovery giusto ??

No basta avere il Firmware SENSE 4.4.4 (quello che installi per far funzionare correttamente la ViperOne) e non hai bisogno di conversioni. Aggiungo che io ho installato la ROM via cavo OTG. Buonpomeriggio ragazzi, ho un problemone. HTC One M8 è da quasi un ora che è fermo sulla boot animation di android Lollipop con rom skydrow. Ho paura di aver sbagliato qualcosa. E' possibile tornare alla recovery?

Prova a tenere premuto volume - e power fino a che non rientra in modalità bootloader

Prova a tenere premuto per circa un minuto il tasto power on/off
