Cosė come annunciato durante il rilascio della ColorOS 2.1.5i Stable, Il Team di svilutto di Oppo ha interrotto lo sviluppo di ColorOS per il nostro dispositivo, a favore dello sviluppo di una versione AOSP basata su Lollipop. Come possibile leggere nel comunicato ufficiale sottostante, gli sviluppatori rassicurano sul fatto che le principali caratteristiche di ColorOS verranno mantenute anche nella versione in sviluppo, denominata: Project Spectrum, che attualmente č in versione 1.0 Beta.
Nonostante sia ancora una Beta sul canale ufficiale i commenti sono perlopių positivi, il sistema sembra giā essere stabile e fluido, ma non l'ho ancora provato personalmente.
Nello specifico verranno mantenute le seguenti features:
1. Screen-off Gestures:
Currently there are two supported screen-off gesture, double tap to wake up the phone and draw a circle to open the camera app. They are turned off by default, to use it please enable it in Settings -> Accessibility -> Screen-off gestures
2. ColorOS Camera
Currently the ColorOS camera is supporting the following plugins: Beautify, Filters, HDR, GIF, Double exposure and Expert Mode, for others we will continue working and try add them in the near future
Note: As we are using the stock Google photos app you cannot delete a photo you've just taken, to delete photos please open the Google photos app
3. MaxxAudio
The MaxxAudio is supported and turned on by default, to enable/disable it please go to Settings -> Sound & notification -> MaxxAudio
Le differenze rispetto la ColorOS sono invece le seguenti:
1. Task Manager
To enable task manager please double tap the home button
2. Take a Screenshot
To take a screenshot please hold Power + Volume Down for 2 seconds
3. Unify the Storage
If your phone storage is already unified, you can flash this package directly, if not and you want to unify your storage please go to Settings -> Storage -> Switch partition
4. Share photos using NFC
Different from ColorOS when you want to share a photo using NFC please open Google photos tap the photo you want to share and tap the share icon then select "Andriod Beam", after that touch your phone with the other device

Some FAQ / Suggestions:
1. What is your impression about this version?
Light, Fast, Stable is my main impression on this ROM, without any blotware making this ROM running smooth like silk, 3rd party apps run as they should be no need to worry about being restrained by the system and notifications are having no problem at all.
2. About backup and restore
This package will wipe your data so a backup using the Backup and Restore app is recommended in case you want to go back to ColorOS. Backup and restore cannot work between ColorOS and Project Spectrum if you need please make a backup using other universal bakup app such as Titanium Backup, it would be great if some of you guys could provide a tutorial on this.
3. Does this version support VOOC?
Sure yes, although there is no charging animation like in ColorOS, you still get the same speed without any problem
4. Will you add more ColorOS feature to it?
We prefer to keep this version simple and clean, most of the apps needed can be download from play store. If you do miss some other ColorOS features please let us know, as long as you got massive supporters we will consider it
5. Can I use 3rd party recovery to install this version?
No, please use the stock ColorOS recovery to update, and please make sure you wipe data and cache before updating.

Note: This full package will wipe user data, please backup your data (use the Backup & restore app) before updating in case you want to go back to ColorOS. Data on you phone storage such as movies and photos will not be affected.
Installazione:
Attenzione: Nč io nč il team di andoidiani.com, di cui NON faccio parte, ci assumiamo la responsabilitā di eventuali danni , blocchi, malfunzionamenti al terminale in seguito all'installazione della Rom e/o del procedimento per ottenere i permessi di ROOT
Riporto il metodo standard di installazione delle ROM ufficiali tramite recovery stock:
1. Scaricare e copiare il pacchetto della rom (X9006&X9076_Spectrum_V1.0_Beta_full.zip scaricabile sopra) nella directory principale del sistema (non funziona se viene messa in una sottocartella).
2. Eseguire, se si ritiene opportuno un backup dei dati applicazioni con la funzione "Backup e ripristino app"
3. Scegliere: IMPOSTAZIONI ->Info sul telefono -> Aggiornamento sistema -> Cliccare sull'icona avanzate in alto a destra -> Locale -> Selezionare il suddetto pacchetto.
4. Attendere il termine dell'aggiornamento quindi riavviare.
5. Accendere e ripristinare i dati eventualmente backuppati da "Backup e ripristino app".
Permessi di Root.
Non ho idea, ma dubito che il terminale possa essere rootato con l'app OPPO TOOLS, ma potrei sbagliarmi, rimango in attesa di chi ne sa pių di me.
