Non l'ho messo... Probabilmente nei prossimi giorni, per ora lho scaricato ma voglio finire di stabilizzare il perseus prima di cambiare

ok v1.8.7 is up.

it's not a big update. just rebased the kernel on i9300 update7 sources.
exynos-mem and sudden death issues are supposed to be fixed.
I have tested the kernel on cm10.1 (latest nightly) and samsung JB (as secondary) roms.
there are tiny changes in ramfs to move .secondrom folder back to sdcard root after you install cm10.1. so, you should not have any problems after installing cm10.1 for the first time.
I'll be around more next week and I have some new features in mind.
I hope my skills are not rotten after spending about a month on higher realms (.NET and Java)

Non è un grande update, semplicemente ribasato il kernel sui sorgenti dell'update7 i9300. Si pensa che l'exynos-mem e le morti improvvise siano stati fixati. Ho testato il kernel sulla cm 10.1 (ultima nightly) e samsung JB (come rom secondaria). Ci sono piccoli cambiamenti in ramfs per spostare la cartella .secondrom nella sdcard root dopo che avete installato cm10.1. Quindi non dovreste avere problemi dopo aver installato la 10.1 per la prima volta. Ci lavorerò di più settimana prossima e ho in mente alcune nuove features. Spero che le mie abilità non siano marce (immagino voglia dire "spero di nn aver fatto tutto x niente" ) dopo aver speso un mese ai livelli + elevati (.NET e Java)

P.s. Jaco io sn più pro di te perchè l'ho anche tradotta

Ma mi sembra che Perseus consumi molto meno e, con i settaggi giusti, sia anche un pelo più performante e lag-free

Beh direi che Perseus e' veramente ottimo ma il modding che ci permette il siyah non lo permette nessun altro kernel...se solo avesse il dualboot sarebbe un'ottimo concorrente del siyah ma intanto:

A proposito...mi spieghi come mai mi tutto quello che avevo nella sd interna è andata in una nuova cartella denominata "0" e mi sn state ricreate tutte le cartelle di prima (che però sono vuote)?

È una prerogativa delle 4.2.1 motivo per cui non le ho ancora provate...per toglierle ho sentito dire serva il deep 1 e siccome non ne avevo voglia ho preferito aspettare forse stasera...se trovi un'altro modo per eventualmente toglierle dillo...

Questo pare sia il sistema per cancellare la cartella "0"...però solo se non si mette/non si usa una cm10.1 (perchè se si mette si ricrea un'altra cartella "0" quindi siamo punto e a capo)

well people seems to deal easily with Android 4.2.1 / CM 10.1 , haven`t` noticed too many difficulties among users to manage with sdcard 0 issue but still i want to share my experience .

i flashed temasek Rom to have a look into the last cm 10.1 features and i was real impressed.

but because my dly driver is the one from my sig i just flashed the new update of CodecRom 10.2 , an AOSP rom

the flashing steps i followed were the same as usual , full wipe of data/factory reset , cache and dalvik , from advanced format data/cache/system/preload .

you don`t have to be worried about sdcard 0 presence , is just an emulated image of your internal sd card . after cm 10.1 you can flash any other rom as usual. you will get rid of it after you flash another rom.

the new rom wont be present into sdcard 0 .

when your setings are done , you can delete it.

1- be sure you`ve got enough space on you internal sdcard to transfer your file from 0 to internal .
some of them can be moved temporary on the internal sd or on your PC, like pics , backups , ...

2- for safety do not move or cut files , use copy , when is done you can delete them

3- take a small amount of files , not all of them , for safety as well

4- this operation can be performed through TWRP recovery or via file manager . my favourite one is solid explorer , fresh purchased from market.

5- identify the folders sdcard0 and 0 . sdcard0 contains sdcard0/0

6- start moving the files . overwrite or merge them

7- when ready you can delete sdcard0/0

8- from TWRP is it possible but from a file manager not due to a file protection . in this situation you must navigate to root/data/media and you`ll see the folder 0 and kick it off

9- put all your files back in place (backups , dcim , music ... )

10- you`re done ! i will suggest to re-flash the rom now to be sure that everything will work fine . 0 folder is gone !
