problema root sony tablet s

allora ho questo tablet a cui devo fare il root. ho seguito questa guida su xda S.onyTablet.S v6.5 [ALLinONE] - new: Update OEM Apps! automatic ICS ROOT!, JB ROOT! - Page 3 - xda-developers
ma ho un problema. quando lancio il comando per eseguire il root mi si ferma a waiting for device.
credo che adb funzioni correttamente perche poco tempo fa ho rootato un htc desire z con adb e non ho avuto problemi.
la modalita debug sul tablet è attivata.
i driver li ho installati tutti......
