Gestione RAM in ICS.100

Ciao a tutti! Ho un problema abbastanza "disagiante", con l'attuale firmware 100 che monto ho la gestione della ram un po' "stretta". Nonostante abbia sempre avuto molte applicazioni pesanti in background (principalmente IMO, Viber, Whatsapp, AC!D Engine, Dropbox, Gmail, Calendar, Any.Do, Android Assistant), con gli altri firmware stock al massimo ottenevo qualche lag, ma riuscivo a gestire il tutto senza che nulla si chiudesse.
Il mio problema principale, per quanto possa sembrare banale per alcuni, è tracciare il percorso mentre corro. Se sto utilizzando Sports Tracker (con Walkman in riproduzione) e nel frattempo, durante una pausa, rispondo ad una notifica, con questo firmware mi si chiude il primo programma citato, perdendo la tracciatura del percorso. Per l'uso quotidiano invece va benissimo, nonostante tutte queste app aperte non ho mai un lag,

La mia domanda principale è: esiste qualche modo per "bloccare" Sports Tracker in memoria? Se non erro, tramite modifiche al build.prop si riesce ad evitare che Android chiuda specifiche applicazioni.. E' solo un placebo o funziona realmente? Spostare l'applicazione nel sistema può essere utile?

Domanda di riserva, conseguente: altri firmware/rom (tendenzialmente stock) che sono altrettanto performanti ma con una gestione della ram migliorata? [Niente GB purtroppo, ho necessità di un firmware 4.0.4 +..]

When the number of background apps increases, some apps are killed by the OS. When this happens, some apps which the user wants to run in the background might get killed.
There is a way out of this. The Android user can lock the apps in the memory to prevent it from being killed by the OS. This involves creating a new local.prop file in the /data directory and then just entering a few lines to edit this file.

File manager installed on the Android (for e.g Root Explorer)

Steps :
Download the Root Explorer apk file from the link and install it on the device.
Open Root Explorer and provide the root permissions.

Scroll down and open the “data” directory.
Once in the /data directory, press menu key and select “New File”.
Enter the name of the file as local.prop.

Now long press on local.prop and select the “Open With” option.
Now select text editor.
The app’s process name should be known to the user. For e.g. if the user wants to lock the Contacts app in memory, type “sys.keep_app_1=com.android.contacts”. “com.android.contacts” is the process of the Contacts app.
Similarly other apps can be locked in the memory in the following manner.
lock app
Now press menu key and select Save and exit.
Now system will show a message saying ‘Old local.prop backed up as local.prop.bak’. And you are done.. Reboot and enjoy.
Note : This method will not work on all ROMs. However, it is risk free. So the user can give it a try.

EDIT: aggiungere la stringa al build.prop sembra non funzionare. Su XDA ho trovato topic interessanti riguardo al mantenere certe applicazioni fissate in memoria:

Tutte smentiscono la possibilità di fare ciò, almeno in maniera permanente.. L'applicazione Auto Memory Manager riesce ad abbassare il livello di oom di un'app fino a -17, dandole la massima priorità, ma - come le altre applicazioni - riesce solo temporaneamente..
Una delle semi-soluzioni a rigor di logica potrebbe essere aumentare la memoria dedicata alla posizione dell'applicazione (Foreground Application, Visible Application, Secondary Server, ecc..).. Idee? :D
