Ciao a tutti, su xda-developers C3C076 ha postato una rom basata sulla 4.2.1 originale quindi non Stock ThL. Si tratta della GravityMod2

ATTENZIONE! LA ROM FUNZIONA SIA PER IL THL W8 DA 8GB CHE PER IL 4GB E ANCHE IL 16GB!

Come Installarla:

Installation instructions (ISTRUZIONI PER L'INSTALLAZIONE)

1) Download proper installation package for your W8 model from Downloads section above (SCARICA IL PACCHETTO DA INSTALLARE PER IL TUO MODELLO DI W8)

2) Put installatrion ZIP on SD card (COPIA IL FILE ZIPPATO DI INSTALLAZIONE SULLA SD CARD)

3) Reboot to clockworkmod recovery (RIAVVIA IN clockworkmod recovery - TASTO ACCENSIONE E VOL+ CONTEMPORANEAMENTE)

4) Make a backup of your current rom. ( FAI UN BACKUP DELLA TUA ATTUALE ROM)

5) Perform full wipe: wipe data/factory reset, advanced/wipe dalvik cache ( ESEGUI IL wipe data/factory reset, advanced/wipe dalvik cache)

6) Choose "install zip from sd card", browse for installation ZIP and confirm flash (SCEGLI DAL MENU "install zip from sd card", SELEZIONA IL FILE ZIPPATO DI INSTALLAZIONE E CONFERMA IL FLASH)

7) Reboot

INCREMENTAL UPDATE

1) Scaricate gli archivi e inseriteli nella vostra SD Card

2) Riavviate in Recovery

3) Wipe cache and dalvik cache (non fate il wipe data - le tue app verranno conservate)

4) Installate gli aggiornamenti dalla SD Card

5) Riavviate

IMPORTANT: it is necessary to clear and re-add contacts for this fix to take effect.
Go to Settings/Apps, locate "Contacts Storage", open it and Clear Data (this will delete all of your contacts
so make sure you have a backup!!!)
If you are synced withh Google account you don't need to backup - your contacts will be synced shortly.

- Fixed CallerID mappings in Messaging (contacts without country code are mapped correctly)
IMPORTANT: fix doesn't apply to existing conversations - they will remain splitted.
So delete problematic threads if any. All new conversations will be grouped OK.

la rom è basata sul firmware del EASTCOM W1 (a quanto pare un clone del THL W8)...non l'avevo mai sentito

si va dai 11500 ai 12500 a seconda di cosa sta facendo il cellulare quando fai il test

Il kernel è modificato dall'autore della rom. Se dovessi tornare alla rom stock devi flashare il kernel originale... l'autore della rom a giorni lo rilascia quello stock flashato in zip

a ok quindi intendevi il kernel del firmware originale ? ....... e dimmi l hai installato tu ? come ti sembra ne vale la pena ?
