Appena aggiornato tramite Hisuite per il momento sembra tutto ok.

Sembra che oggi sia disponibile per tutti (tramite HiSuite) l'aggiornamento ad Oreo ed EMUI 8.

Important:
1. Automatic time zone uses location information to set a time zone when Location information is enabled.
2. Due to the redesign of Settings, the location of certification logos, legal information, and regulatory information (if applicable) has been altered.
3. To improve your experience, Smart notifications will be updated when you are connected to Wi-Fi. You can disable auto-updates in Settings.
4. Your device will automatically download and install updates from your network provider and device manufacturer (may use mobile data) after the update. This feature is enabled by default. You may disable it in Settings > System > Developer options.
Update notes:
1. You are advised to back up data before the update. After the update, certain pre-installed third-party apps on Android 7.0 may be uninstalled. They will still be available in App Store.
2. Some third-party apps that are not compatible with Android 8.0 may function incorrectly after the update. It is recommended that you update these apps to their latest versions in the Google Play Store.
3. This system version can be rolled back to the official version of EMUI 5.0 using HiSuite. Rolling back the system version will erase your personal data. For more information, please contact the customer service hotline.
4. If you encounter any problems during the update, please contact the customer service hotline or visit an authorised Huawei service centre for assistance which you can find.
5. Your home screen layout may be rearranged slightly.

Ovviamente ho fatto il backup (con HiSuite) prima di fare l'update.
Poi ho lanciato l'update mentre ero a pranzo :-) Dopo pranzo ho trovato il telefono riavviato ed aggiornato.
Non si e' perso niente: ho trovato tutto come era prima... applicazioni, dati, foto, ecc.

Penso che pero' un bel reset lo faro'

Non ne ho idea... non mi pare che HiSuite ne faccia menzione.

aggiornato tramite hisuite,introdotte le novità di oreo nel centro notifiche con il posticipo.
le impostazioni sono state raggruppate alcune son state aggiunte alcune modificate,tipo è stato aggiunto un metodo di navigazione con un pallino oppure la possibilità di nascondere la classica barra di navigazione.
si può scegliere 2 tipi di notifiche sulle icone il numerino o il pallino,tenendo premuto l'icona appare una piccola anteprima.
la gestione delle app in background è stata modificata,prima si entrava dal gestore telefono-blocco schermo (mi sembra) adesso questa voce non c'è,io le impostazioni background le ho trovate sempre dal gestore telefono-avvio da qui si può scegliere avvio automatico, avvio secondario, background.
hanno aggiunto qualche app app gallery,game suite,phone clone, suggerimenti.
nelle impostazioni del Launcher Huawei hanno aggiunto qualche vove, risultati di ricerca,feed Google (non so se erano presenti anche prima,io uso nova).
ancora è presto per giudicare la batteria!
