Io l'ho abilitata tramite i file user.conf e userinit.sh piazzati nella partizione ext della SD.
Attualmente ho disabilitato la compcache e ho una partizione swap da 96MB con swappiness a 30. -

what issues was BFS causing? what issues was compcache causing? 4.2 screams with a linux-swap but I'd like to test it out with BFS+compcache to see what the performance difference is...just hoping for some insider info from cyanogen =)
Primo avvio decisamente luuuungo. Crash di MyBackup Pro. L'ho disinstallato, sto riavviando e provo a reinstallarlo. Per quel che ho potuto vedere la ROM è molto veloce!
Ah dimenticavo, NON c'è alcuna swap!

Per ora tutto bene :)
E' un po' strano vedere che manca completamente la swap però per qualche tempo la terrò così. Poi appena rodata conto di testare nuovamente una swap partition con 30 di swappiness. -

Fatto wipe, ora reinstallo tutto dal market per sicurezza. Comunque su XDA non ho visto post che parlavano del mio problema. Il mio G1 rimaneva bloccato sul logo tim (il primo splash). Su xda parlano invece di Splash1->Splash2->Black screen.

su XDA ci sono stati casi di G1 bloccati sul logo iniziale (T-Mobile), sembrerebbero però risolti tutti con installazione con wipe.

ho installato la 4.2.1 ...
come velocita' non vedo tanta differenza, pero' ho notato 2 cose:
1 il tasto per aprire il menu' (quello per aprire la tendina menu') , ha cambiato forma
2 e' stata aggiunta in opzioni chiamata (spuntata in default) l'opzione ke si illumini il led (anke se non ho ben capito come, se lampeggiando o altro) , quando hai chiamate perse...
