Discussione fotocamera

In effetti sono stato fortunato ma in questo momento sono titubante se aggiornare alla 4.2 per timore che mi si presenti il problema (anche se in quel caso sarebbe sw quindi una 4.3 in teoria dovrebbe risolvere).

Vi farei altri esperimenti con variazioni di iso ed esposizione ma purtroppo non sono un esperto in fotografia e so a malapena di cosa stiamo parlando quindi non vi posso aiutare più di tanto..

Ma a te il problema si presenta già con la 4.1?

Idem. Le foto di giorno vengono perfette, al buio invece, anche a 27°, si presenta l'alone viola, tranne se metto a fuoco verso fonti luminose (non per forza lampade, ad esempio la tv). Comunque direi che l'aggiornamento software promesso dall'HTC sia una manna, poiché da questo momento in poi potremmo chiarire la natura del problema per ogni singolo dispositivo. Io per il momento, aspetto la 4.3 e se il problema persiste lo mando in assistenza.

Fossi in te, non lo manderei in assistenza, prima che si sappia qualcosa di ufficiale. Rischi di perdere tempo e/o di ricevere un cellulare con lo stesso problema.

Tu sei fuori tempo per la sostituzione da parte del venditore?

non so cosa cambia dalla 4.1 alla 4.2
ma io fossi in te galaxy lascerei perdere...

aspetta la 4.3 ufficiale e via..
tanto il telefono va bene cosi...

L'ho comprato a luglio in negozio. Mi hanno detto che dovrebbe essere in garanzia due anni. Anzi deve essere così.

Chill out guys... The real issue here is the white balance configuration of the camera. Some sensors were configured to have intense white balance leading to the pink tint issue.

To those who are debating if it's hardware of software issue then I say it is both.

It is hardware because the issue is not related to android OS nor kernel but within the camera module itself. But it is also software issue because the problem here is located in the hardcoded eFuse in the camera module which is unmodifyable once encoded.

But it should be fixable by recalibrating the white balance by overriding or balancing the efuse data in the module.

What is eFuse = eFuse is a type of independent firmware stored in a ROM on each microchip that's handling all the request sent by the OS to the module.

The issue is not directly related to the ISO. It's only triggered on high ISO because the device is programmed to scale up the white balance dark colors are detected by the sensor. To test this try adjusting your white balance to a fixed value and use the camera again in any ISO you want. You would notice that the issue is gone. But this still isn't a solution since adjusting your white balance to anything would make the picture look warmer or cooler than normal.

Come facciamo a cambiare manualmente il settaggio del colore bianco? Almeno per verificare questa cosa

C'è la funzione sul menù. Io avevo già provato, non cambia niente.
