You have to reset it on the pinhole on the back cover.
Then keep pressed Volume Down (-) and plug the usb.
After your PC has plugged it you can release Volume Down
Start flashing as before (just be sure to tick loader and system box this time!!!)

but when i ticked the loader box , it asked me for it and i didint find it with the files in GexRom v4
only there , boot_ext3.img , and kernel.img, misc.img,recovery and sytstem.img
where is the loader file
for now
i used the official update of the mediacom site
so it is live again

Ho messo su la 4 beta senza problemi.
Il tablet funziona bene. Solo un paio di cose:
- specialmente all'avvio, appaiono messaggi di applicazioni e processi che non si sono avviati correttamente
- se lascio che il tablet vada in sleep, al risveglio fa fatica a riprendere la rete o addirittura non la riprende affatto e devo riavviare

Per il resto, funziona ben oltre le mie esigenze e saro' quindi lieto di installare la 4 definitiva quando sara' disponibile.
Dopodiche', direi che a questo tablet non manca nulla.

Ho installato la 2.7 Full Root e durante l'aggiornamento ho avuto l'errore download firmware fail, cliccando su restore lo stesso errore...ho provato a far partire il tablet ed è partito ugualmente, si è riavviato un paio di volte...dopo è arrivato alla schermata principale, stava facendo update media library e poi lo schermo è rimasto tutto nero...che fare?


edit: ho resettato ma ora rimane bloccato su library update...

Perfetto per ora mi tengo questa rom in attesa che esca un aggiornamento per le mie chiavetta onda. Ma non c'è modo di avere la rom 1.0.7 originale?
Sto notando che in questa rom (la gex 2.7) se tengo premuto sullo schermo per la scelta del wallpaper non mi da la possibilità di selezionare quella decina di sfondi predefiniti che invece mi permetteva con la versione ufficiale...è possibile installare questi sfondi in qualche modo?manca anche il widget dell'orologio digitale, c'è solo quello analogico. grazie

Innanzitutto ringrazio gexking e tutti quelli che si danno da fare per migliorare l'utilizzo di questo dispositivo Sto avendo problemi con il procedimento per caricare le rom, il problema sembra piuttosto stupido ma non ho idea di come risolverlo. Mi sono bloccato proprio nei primi step, la prima volta che ho connesso il dispositivo da spento ho premuto il tasto - e il pc ha provato a cercare i driver, per un mio errore ho chiuso il procedimento e ho dovuto rifare da capo, ma ecco il problema: adesso ogni volta che lo collego e premo il tasto meno il tablet si accende in automatico. Come posso risolvere?

EDIT: Ho trovato la soluzione scaricando le istruzioni per l'aggiornamento ufficiale. Lo scrivo anche qui nel caso fosse utile a qualcuno: da dispositivo spento bisogna premere e tenere premuto il tasto - e collegare il cavo usb senza lasciare il tasto, e continuare a premerlo per qualche secondo.
