Hi again,

I stated earlier that I was not convinced about the whole zcache thing. This has changed a 'little' now, since I have made two changes to get it running considerably better:

1) I have increased the vfs_cache_pressure (to 120). Higher values will make more use of zcache. Thanks to mpokwsths for mentioning the adjusted settings by faux123.
Note that the only setting affecting zcache on fancy kernel is vfs_cache_pressure. All of the other variables you can change in faux123's control app are non-effective here.

2) I have updated the LZO compression library to the latest version. As zcache uses the LZO algorithm to compress and decompress, this will speed things up tremendously. In short, compression is approximately 1.75 times faster, decompression is more than 3.5 times faster.

Io sto provando la per 35-01 e mi trovo una favola, oggi a fine ciclo metto la 02 per vedere la differenza, comunque mi sembra che con la zcache va un po meglio..

io ho messo la 35-02 ora lo testo..
ci sono impostazioni particolare per la zcache?

Salve raga ha da tempo che sto seguendo questo kernel, e devo dire che in accoppiata alla SlimBean che utilizzo va davvero bene...consumi ottimi e prestazioni altissime..il problema però è che molto spesso ho dei sod :-( ..anche una volta al giorno...ho provato di tt, ho utilizzato la ext e la std ma niente, ho lasciato tt le impostazioni standard, ho provato a modificare i voltaggi ma nn cambia assolutamente niente...può essere che da questi problemi soltanto a me..?! Non credo...qualche soluzione..?

Fai una piallata mettendo la stock e ripeti la procedura x rimettere la slim ed il kernel.a me gira benissimo
