Good news everyone, RootBox stable V4.1 is finally here for all devices. Since V4.0 there has been a considerable amount of development made to RootBox and a huge amount of features have been added. For a complete view of what has really changed since V4.0, I suggest you go take a look at the changelog. I highly suggest a full wipe for those coming from V4.0 while those already running latest nightlies can simply flash without issues. If you’re current using V4.0 and still flash V4.1 without full wipe, you will get several FC and system errors due to the extensive source change. So of course, we now have HALO implemented in RootBox, several new recents improvements, new battery styles, several bug fixes and lag fixes, device specific enhancements, camera options improved, more options in RB Settings and much more! Let’s also welcome 4 more devices to the family: S4 variants (at&t, T-mobile, Sprint & Verizon). On the other hand I do have some bad news: I lost my job today and I will stop development for a while until I find a new job. I’m doing this because I’m still a student and I’m not as financially stable as a full time employee and I cannot manage RootBox while trying to look for a job and prepare for my interviews (if I do get called for any). I develop RootBox as a hobby and I do spend a lot of time into it since I manager well over 20 devices by myself but unfortunately I do not get paid to do this and I cannot afford not to have a job and manage all this at the same time. It is unfortunate that I have to halt development for a short period of time but since I live alone, I do have to take care of my finances asap before it gets worse off. I will eventually pick up the development when I get back on my feet but this Stable version should last for a few weeks! Enjoy the release!

P.S Do not ask for an ETA for your device. Both buildboxes have been started and they will build for all supported devices.

Riassumendo brevemente, bajee ha perso il lavoro e per adesso interrompe lo sviluppo per un po della rom, almeno finche' non trova un altro lavoro... Fate un full wipe che questa stable durera per un po mi sa :P

ragazzi ieri sera ho messo in carica il mio n4 e stamattina l ho trovato al 99%... perche? danke

Non é niente di anomalo, al fine di preservare la batteria i telefoni hanno un sistema di carica che si ferma raggiunto il 100% e riparte al 98/99%, vai tranquillo

Mannaggia! Avevo appena sistemato tutto con la versione del 23/06 con un bel full wipe!! Non ho voglia di rifare tutto da zero. Proverò ad aggiornare senza FW e vedo come si comporta...... male che vada rifarò tutto!

Se leggi quello che ha detto bajee se vieni dalle nightlies non serve il full wipe

un full wipe non e' necessario, ma e' consigliato... io l'ho fatto perche stavo aggiornando con le nightly dall ultima stable, e avevo il theme chooser che crashava... preferisco fare un full wipe adesso che non avere un FC su qualche app e non sapere se e' dovuto a un dirty flash della rom...

Ti resta il toolkit... Hai fatto il wipe system insieme al format data

Ora hai un telefono completamente vuoto senza neanche la rom da flashate sopra .....
Come spiegò il buon ares dovevi fare l'operazione in due tempi
