Capisco .. io stock il mio nexus 7 l'ho tenuto solo per un giorno , xD poi ho cambiato tutto quello che mi interessava cambiare .. Allora prima di installare rom kernel root bisogna innanzitutto sbloccare il bootloader, e se non l'hai mai fatto e non hai mai avuto un android , lo sblocco non risulterà immediato , però non è molto complicato .. Per sbloccarlo avrai bisogno di un pc , dovrai installare l'sdk manager, diciamo che ci vuole un po' di tempo tanta calma e bisogna stare attenti .. Ora non ti sto a spiegare tutto anche perchè hai detto che non devi cambiare la rom nell'immediato . Dopo aver fatto lo sblocco con il nexus puoi fare di tutto ! Questo fu il principale motivo che mi spinse a comprarlo ( oltre all'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo ) .. Comunque dopo che avrai sbloccato il bootloader, se vuoi installare delle rom devi cambiare la recovery , io ti consiglio la twrp , per me la migliore . Per il root poi ci sono due modi per installarlo , o lanci l'installazione tramite il prompt dei comandi windows come avviene per l'installazione della recovery o flashi tramite recovery . Poi quando sarà il momento , troverai le guide su internet e poi se hai qualche dubbio puoi contattarmi qui sul forum .

Come programma per fare il root e altre cose ho trovato anche Google Nexus 7 ToolKit che mi è sembrato più completo, anche se la versione massima che supporta di android è la 4.2.1 e non la 4.2.2 che ho io installato sul mio Nexus. é meglio il programma che mi hai suggerito tu o questo ?

Io non ho usato il toolkit , a me piace "smanettare" e quindi i toolkit non fanno per me perché fanno tutto loro ... Però forse per te il toolkit sarebbe la soluzione ideale.. Magari non hai scaricato l'ultima versione del toolkit , perché penso ci sia un toolkit anche per la 4.2.2

Ciao ragazzi!
Premetto che è una richiesta un po' strana... Qualcuno di voi sa se e come è possibile settare il sistema in modo che riconosca la fotocamera frontale del Nexus 7 come quella dorsale? Perchè varie app richiedono una fotocamera sul retro del dispositivo che, coma sapete, il Nexus 7 non ha..
Magari modificando un file di sistema ci si riuscirà, no?

Ragazzi levatemi una curiosità :
ho seguito le indicazioni su come installare il browser stock per usare flash player..
Tutto ok ma é normale che con questo browser non riesco a vedere i preferiti desktop ma solo cn chrome?
Nelle impostazioni dell'account sincronizza solo chrome nn il browser stock

You can download CWM 6.0.3.1 and TWRP 2.5.0.0 from Goo.im Downloads - Browsing google_nexus7 and flash it via the Toolkit. You can also update the adb/fastboot files for 4.2.2 by downloading Goo.im Downloads - Downloading adb_fastboot_files_for_4.2.2.zip and overwriting the files. SuperSU can be updated to the latest version from the app.

The full public build of V5.0.0 will follow tomorrow or Friday at the latest.

[Auto Updates are only accessible if you have donated to the Toolkit project, received an activation code and unlocked the professional features. Auto Updates are a much faster and easier way of pushing small updates that would otherwise not be worth doing. I can push a single textual change or add support for a new build without having to go through the whole process of building a full version and uploading a large file. IF you are not able to or do not want to donate to unlock the Auto Update feature (and other professional features) then all the smaller updates are collated and a full build made when I have time or if there are enough updates to warrant it. ciao a tutti,
volevo togliere completamente tutte le mod fatte con il seguente toolkit: htt*://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1809195
prima ho sbloccato il bootloader, poi ho premuto il tasto 8 e ho seguito il video....
adesso devo far tornare tutto originale e quindi deve ritornare valida la garanzia, come devo fare?
ps. la garanzia con il bootloader bloccato e il root si invalida oppure no???

pps. ho cercato in giro ma non ho trovato niente di chiaro.... a cosa serve busybox?

Salve a tutti, ho da poco acquistato un nexus 7 3g e volevo sapere quale metodo per fare il root consigliate e se una volta fatto posso riavere la garanzia.....in più voi consigliate qualche room? io trovo intrigante la paranoid
