anch'io ho pensato a questo
ma invece il 3g funziona come anche l'hs, funziona sotto rete 3 e in roaming
funziona normalmente isomma...a parte il widget...

Tieni cmq presente che anche a me in questi giorni il widget di 3 fa i capricci. Per esempio, questa mattina avevo solo i minuti a disposizione e solo dopo il più recente aggiornamento mi sono regolarmente comparsi anche i MB residui.

Ragazzi ricordatevi che questa è una nuova base e quindi ci sono ancora delle cose da sistemare. Credo che domani al massimo dopo domani venga rilasciato un ulteriore aggiornamento per risolvere diversi problemi tra cui quello di app2sd. Attendiamo pazientemente e vediamo che succede!

Ho messo la 0.5.1 questa mattina, e devo dire che funziona tutto perfettamente.
Unica pecca: l'inglese. Non tanto per via della lingua, ma perché poi il genie widget (news and weather) si mette a cercare solo articoli in inglese, e non cercando tra i quotidiani italiani. Nessuno ha risolto questo problema? C'é modo di dire al widget di collegarsi a google news italia e non us?

Idem per google maps, ora finalmente funziona la voce navigando... però la voce inglese :-(

Io: la Smoki è nettamente più performante!
Consiglio la Capy solo a chi ama alla follia la UI espresso.
Per il resto, pur non avendo avuto grossi problemi, la Capy mi è sembrata veramente troppo pesante (a volte passavano secondi tra il comando e la risposta del terminale). Esteticamente però a me piace molto!

-Fixed the album art not showing for real this time
-Fixed a problem with changing language via morelocale and thus creating some bugs like not being able to add a city in weather app
-Maybe fixed call waiting sound issue (it was ok for me, please test and report)
-Removed Launcher2.apk as it was causing more problems than it was useful - I strongly recommend using Launcher Pro app downloadable from the market - it's very fast and customizable
-Added NewsReader app and widget - READ ADDITIONAL INFO IF YOU WISH TO USE IT
-Added more selectable languages from the setupwizard as I saw many of you use apps that rely on system language(no, the rom is still not multilanguage)
-Totally changed memory management and as of now, I do not support the use of app killing apps unless you really need the free space for some game or something like that that is a memory hog (Automatic memory killer probably won't work, but it's not needed)
-As a result of the above change, do not be alarmed if the RAM memory goes below 30MB, as it will stay smooth and fast as long as you don't fire up some big ass memory app, but it'll still be ok, just going back to home screen will probably be a bit slower, but after that it'll be cool - you can kill some apps to free up the memory via quick system info app included before starting the app
-As the result of the above, apps will load a bit faster
-Speed tweaks
-As the result of the above, calling screen will appear faster(almost at the same time as the phone starts to ring)
-As the result of the above, apps will start faster and load faster a bit
-As the result of the above SenseUI interface is going to be quicker and smoother
-Gone back to having two versions of the rom - one for dalvik cache on /cache and the other one for apps2sd as I don't have the time to test it all, sorry if I disappointed someone with this, but I have some more important things right now
-Maybe something else, don't remember

Come installare:

DOWNLOAD SMOKI 0.5.5

NOTE : WIPE BEFORE FLASHING THIS VERSION

NOTE No.2 : When you set up your MMS with MmsZap, UNINSTALL IT as it will drain your battery and possibly create lag. If you don't have or want mms, uninstall it nevertheless.

NOTE No.3 AND A GUIDE TO INSTALL - I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU DIDN'T GET YOUR ALBUM ART BACK IF YOU DIDN'T FOLLOW THIS GUIDE TO THE END OR MISSED SOMETHING

-Wipe data
-Mount sdcard
-Clean up your sdcard from whatever folders and files Android system created - that might include albumthumbs folder, bookmarkthumb folder, Android folder, LOST.DIR folder, rosie_scroll folder, diskcache files
-Flash the ROM
-Reboot the phone, disconnect it from pc and wait until the setupwizard appears
-Choose the options you want and sign into Google account and Facebook or Twitter (One of those two, not both)
-A side note : I had setupwizard reload itself on my last test, so don't worry about it, it will save your google log in and language selection and you can just proceed with sign into social network
-When SenseUI starts to load, wait for the sync icon in the taskbar to disappear and reboot the phone using the long press red phone button and tapping on Power off
-Wait a few seconds as this base isn't shutting down as quickly as the other ones
-Boot into recovery and do a fix uid mismatches from "other" menu
-Reboot the phone and let it boot up completely (if you have a sim pin lock, type it in, unlock it and leave it)
-Check after 2 minutes by waking up the phone and unlocking it
-Check again
-When you see it's all loaded up, wait for 2 more minutes to settle down
-Done and done, your album art should appear (tested numerous times)
-Now open up the Browser and check if you've got flash working by visiting some site with flash animations on it
-If it's not working, download and install quickfix for it which is located below (DO NOT FLASH IT BEFORE YOU CHECK AS IT MAY NOT WORK AFTER UNTIL THE FIX IS APPLIED AGAIN)

DOWNLOAD Apps2SD - This is a wipe update with apps2sd script inside. I recommend repartitioning your card with all three available partitions - swap/ext3/fat32 (swap will not be used, but will make sure apps2sd starts successfully). The guide above is also applicable to this version.

Eccomi di ritorno dopo 4 ore di film! Mi sono sparato Iron Man 1 e 2 in hd! xD
Tornando a noi. Il nostro amico klothius ha voluto anticipare i tempi. Ho appena finito di scaricare la nuova 0.5.5 inizio la prova anche se sto morendo di sonno!

EDIT: dopo un superficiale test devo dire che la rom gira davvero bene. La localizzazione italiana funziona senza problemi ma la lingua di sistema è sempre in inglese. La nuova versione di app2sd va alla grane e tutte le applicazioni vanno senza problemi sulla memory. La velocità generale è davvero buona e l'auto killer sembra funzionare bene. Il dialer l'ho trovato leggermente più reattivo rispetto alla 0.4.5. Testerò meglio la rom e domani vi saprò dire come lavora effettivamente la rom!
